Good to hear. I'm glad that some of the OG MR members are still playing. Is Charlemagne still around? He was the first person to join my clan when I made it. Also, were you named something else before? I don't quite remember your username (although I don't remember very many, just the ones I worked closely with like TruePlayer, Corinthians, Benny, arsh, tmh, some of the MR originals).

 

Your name does sound a bit familiar. I remember jakeevil, I don't quite remember ash. I remember a sumsette. How much have you been playing? On/off or pretty constant?

 

Dang...it's kinda weird seeing all of my stuff archived. Has any thread beaten the record for posts on Blumpy's Bar and Grill yet? And I see they archived my spy guide :/ I was so proud of that fire emblem animation at the beginning.

 

Thanks I doubt I'll be visiting for very long (probably gone after today), but it was a nice visit. I remember a lot of cringeworthy things I said and did when I was playing KaW (duh, I was like 16), and I was a bit scared to look back at it now. But now that I look back at it my old threads, I'm really happy with what I did and how I interacted with people (I seemed strangely mature). I'm about to graduate college though (probably why I wanted to look back), so I'm also glad to move on.

 

If you joined 2012, I doubt it considering I quit early 2010. You probably recognize me if you've ever browsed the "Best of" section. I thought they would be deleted by now, but I guess they archived some of the threads I started (three of them, now that I count). There's Blumpy's Bar and Grill, which, up do that point, (and possibly still?) had the most posts ever in a thread. There's the stripping debate thread which was a delightful read! Very interesting to see the posts made after I left; I smiled several times reading through it. Also, there is my Spy guide, which was stickied for a long time before T3 came out I guess.

I also created Modern Republic, which at one point was one of the biggest clans (this was before the clan system). If I remember correctly, it was the biggest clan at some point, although a lot of our members were quite weak. The other big clans at the time were iG, Foxes, FSU, and Chaos. Apparently, MR died, but some of its members are still around .

 

Anyways, I'm headed for the door. Thank you for the wonderful memories. I might monitor this thread for a few more hours, but I think that's it for me and KaW, which I have a lot of fond memories with.

 

Hmm, I thought that the fact that I wasn't going to be playing would kinda show that I had no reason to lie.

The name Trish brings back memories though (I don't remember if it was exactly Trishissi). If I recall correctly, Trish was one of the (or maybe THE) founders of FSU. I met her (and you actually, I think you were also former FSU) when me, TruePlayer, and lomhanz (we were mercenaries, I really want to remember the name of our group but I forgot; they later became New Age) were hired to pin your top player (who was actually like #45 on the leaderboards or something). I think Trish chewed me out at the time, but we actually became pretty good friends. You actually got in a couple attacks on me, but I just quickly banked whatever I had so I didn't lose much (I was a pure spy at the time, lomhanz and TruePlayer were at the top of the leaderboards).

I actually remember quite a lot of FSU, you were the fourth biggest clan when I started and gave me a lot of advice when I started Modern Republic: Trish, storallelite, nightwishes, KillZone, arsh (not sure if she was FSU), I forgot the guy we were targeting's name, you, the crazy Conqueress, Nelle maybe? IDK, I'm naming a bunch of females because I remember FSU being a primarily female clan.

Since you're a forum moderator, could you get me my old name back?
