Think whatever you want. There's a difference. Islamic state and other radicals trying to take over a nation and being held back doesn't justify terrorism. They are domestic terrorism there. They aren't a country, they are a group of rebels needed to be suppressed. You justlove being wrong
You meddled in other countries affairs and provoked the bombings. The same way you claim Pearl Harbor provoked and justified the nukes.
I find it interesting some of the viewpoints and quotes included in this forum thread. War has been a part of history since the beginning of time as humanity knows it. It is in human nature. Some acts of war have been much more violent than others, shocking, devestating... But one thing holds true throughout history: politicians and peaceful countries may manage to prolong the inevitable. War mongers eventually die before their time may have been due. But all civilizations eventually come to an end. War always prevails victorious.
V, politics and straight up bombing someone is different. Maybe you just don't understand anything because you don't read up on your history. If you attack the sovereignty of our nation in any way we will kill you. Hands down. There is a government in the middle east and we decided to help them. Rebels didn't like it, killed out citizens and we ravage them for that. I don't know about you or you country but you should learn some before you speak youngin
You are all so ignorant it's amazing. Nukes were dropped during war to suppress a very powerful nation. And it worked. Just because you don't agree and are a hippie peace begger or think we shoukd waste countless of our soldiers doesn't mean it was wrong. We suppressed them with the necessary force saving ojr own soldiers.
War used to be fought over ; women and defending honor, land grabs, resources, technology. I always hear people say "you went to war over oil you pig!" Well... Oul may have been a factor but in reality there is more natural oil under north america than in iraq. And that wasnt what the war was all about... But if it was, so what? War over gold is better?
You seem ignorant to all tactics to war. How about you join front lines and say you wouldn't want something to save your life. Instead you sit on a computer or phone all day like a lazy person
And the islamic people war over land, and indian tribes warred over women and hunting lands, and germany warred for killing every jew and land to claim a new world supremacy. Japan helped and we killed them to the point they stopped. Try and us a different point
Nukes were dropped to suppress a powerful nation. We understand where you're coming from. We don't have to agree that it was the right thing. You refuse to listen to anything anyone else is saying and just keep spouting that the USA is always right, that's why you have no credibility.
According to the powers that be, use of a biological or chemical weapon of mass destruction is inhumane, and should not be used if all else avoidable. This is the opinion of people worldwide. At the time of the atomic bombs detonation, the group who decides these rules and regulations was not in a stance to be influential. It was not just America that decided to drop it, but was the Allied forces as a whole that chose to do so. So you cannot just blame America for the choice. In world war 2, over a million people lost their lives. It seemed as if that number would double if continued on as it was. The Allied forces made a decision to kill tens of thousands to save hundreds of thousands of potential lives. We will never know truly what the best move would have been, but the call was made and it cannot be undone. Obviously everyone will have their own views on it depending on their political stance, country living in, where family is from, upbringing... Etc...
America also committed genocide to Native American people, used chemical weapons in Vietnam for no good reason which is a war crime. Don't act like America is the good guys.
To be fair, agent orange was used as a pesticide, and was not (supposedly) made for intent to use directly on people, but as a way to kill the crops so that viet troops could not live off the land. Side effects were horrible though and its a sad history of America :/
To be clear it wasn't an allied choice . The manhattan project was an American project the British had given when research and technical help they had to the Americans earlier in the war. The Russians weren't even told about the weapons construction until it had been used.
I only state that previous statement because i dislike people taking things out of context to make it seem more malicious than originally intended.... Sort of like the media does these days eith their headlines. For ex" officer shoots unarmed black man" yet in the body of the story it states" 16 time convicted felon john doe attempted to run over an officer after fleeing an attempted bank robbery while armed. The suspect john doe dropped his weapon before accelerating towards the officer"
