If you want to use a blockade as an example you'd be better off showing the blockade the USN conducted on Japan they were in every way more effective than the Kriegsmarine . They inflicted horrendous economic and materiel losses on the limited Japanese merchant navy and fishing fleets
Nighthawk there is a lot of difference between economic sanctions and a blockade. The allied blockade of Germany in ww1 was undoubtedly effective reducing their imports and strangling their economy similar in ww2. The German attempts to blockade GB caused great damage but weren't successful neither were their and the Italians efforts in the med against Malta or the British eighth army in Egypt. There's not been a blockade on anything like that scale since then sanctions don't see armed conflict but can still be somewhat effective.
Too bad someone complained to ATA and got Frog permanently forum banned. He was the only Japanese on this thread, and a Hiroshima resident to top it off.
America bombed the cities because they hadn't been turgeted before to show japan how destructive the bombs where. And the other town the pilots couldn't find their intial target so they improvised. In all america thought it would save more lives but didn't know about the lasting effects
What did he get banned for? ...they must've deleted the post that got him banned. I don't see what he said that's still up that would ban him
