The pay out is bigger using your hansel troops on friendly osf and assass at haunting. Hansel troops are wasteful at haunting but pay well (with mnimum inconvenience to osf that is not building plunder during epic any way).
Well your payout in an eb is combined with your number of actions and plunder gained from the eb, you'll be getting minimal bonus if you don't gain plunder from attacks. You know for an actual fact that your way is more profitable? Or just assuming from minor testing? I've tested with my personal OSF that's 5mil comb and I make more in haunting.
This is good if your clan can easily finish the epic without your troops. The cost of items to hit wouldn't leave you with much profit.
At my size from the haunting I get 14mil a hit using 4 mil in pots. On a decent size osf I can make 23 mil a hit.
Look for clans that clear hauntings in about two hours. Hansel small troops are not a factor and can be leveraged to be same as pwar plunder.
On a tax free open I went from 450mil to 1.1bil in an unload. That's better then what the haunting would lay
I find it clear that hansel troops are more profitable hitting a large osf (tax free) rather than being used (with pots) in haunting epic battle.
Hit on a osf with war tax taken of is 18 mil With out is 22-23mil Haunting is 14mil and I use 4 mil in pots making 10mil profit per hit
Well I basically get 2bil an unload with pots on an EB. I don't make that from tax free hits on an OSF. Maybe you need to find a better clan for EBs.
It's impossible to jump from 450 mill being 80% of your cash with tax to 1.1 bill being 100% of your cash with out tax
