The Bible: Chronicles 15:13 That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
Speculation pure and simple. But the only reason they may not have emerged. They would have been executed by dictators. But minor snagging point there.
From what you are saying that means the British army are terrorists, they denied Ireland there freedom for you until they had a uprising and several other country's were the same
Here is my moosey 2 cents worth........ Terrorism is bad, and yes, there are things in this world that can be classified as good and bad. Volunteering in a food pantry to assist the homeless is good! Blowing up buildings and killing countless people to make a point is bad! So, are terrorists bad people? Yes. They are cutting off the heads of people that disagree with them. They have blown up ancient cultural sights, and they've done things like flown planes into buildings. These are not the acts of good men, regardless of their motives or belief structure. Believing that Allah smiles on the death of infidels doesn't make your belief correct or good. Now, I will address the other side of this coin. Is America good? (America is just an example. You could insert many western nations) No. Actually, America is not good. America has created many of the terror problems they now face. Did you know bin laden was a creature of the CIA? Yep. The CIA gave bin laden and friends weapons in Afghanistan so that they could give Russia its own "Vietnam" war. See how well that worked out? America also placed saddam Hussein into power, then killed him some years later when he went rogue and didn't dance to America's drum. So, I've established that terrorists are "bad guys" and that America is also a "bad guy". Does this mean that America and terrorist are equally bad? The answer is "No". At the end of the day, even though America has dome terrible things and has actually created many of these terrorists, they have shown amazing restraint in dealing with them. Also, two wrongs don't make a right. So. Just because America is responsible for the rise of bin laden and friends doesn't give bin laden and people with his philosophy the right to commit their own atrocities. So..... Bottom moosey line is this. There are no good guys, but, not all bad guys are created equal, or are equally bad.
Wherever they may be found, they must be neutralized. Shoot to kill any ISIS-affiliated individual in that war zone. I am aware of reports that people who have flocked to ISIS because of propaganda that motivated them to go there are unable to leave the area they are in. Some are women, some are children. They are confined to their homes while militants patrol the city, well dug in to protect themselves from aerial shelling. It's not going to be a clean war. Predator drones are expensive but they are worth much less than human lives belonging to members of the US military and their allies. The US agenda is firmly against enemies of the US military and politicians. They seek to protect US citizens, military personnel, foreign refugees, and US interests in the region. Whoever acts in opposition to the US agenda is a person of interest, and rightly so. The difference between us, the people of the world, and these ISIS sympathizers is that WE ARE NOT BARBARIANS.
And can you both stop quoting Old Testament of both books that are no longer relevant to anyone other than extremists. Both verses are overruled in later verses. Go and educate yourselves more, rather than falsifying both religions with old text that only serves to belittle the lessons of time. It's as bad as listening to extremists throwing around our of context quotes to try and justify their heinous actions.
you claim you read no evil in the Quran, i proved you otherwise, where does the bible come into place?
Its the same God...most of the same stories and prophets. They are both Abrahamic religions. But this is not a theological debate it is an issue of human decency.
I treat the Bible and the other two Books as books of mythology. Sure, they have moral codes but they're largely irrelevant and impractical in the modern world, in this modern age. We are living in enlightenment! Perhaps too much enlightenment? Too much information? That's a question for another thread...
