It doesn't matter what the funds were used for. They were ill gotten gains that they weren't entitled to.

I enjoy these forums and debates especially when it's with people like you. @Sig It's no telling where the gold is going. But once gold is made by misuse of the game mechanics, it becomes a violation of others ways to play the game.

I honestly thought you had left it there for a certain clan to use it to strip people. You did nothing about it so I assumed you did not care. I saw others doing it unabated, with you taking no action, and figured I might as well go ahead as to not be left behind to something I figured you had no care of. The reason people don't report things is because half of your staff is mentally challenged. Want me to post ss to provide proof of this? I can provide many ss of convo with support going in circles for 20 emails when it's a simple thing like looking at an ss and silencing someone or transferring an account. This was reported to you a while back and numerous times in between. You did nothing. Let it happen. And then come back and punish us for more than we took. KaW_Admin and everyone questioning many things. The reason you think we funneled gold off is because..... When you do the glitch you take your t5 lv2 and try to upgrade. If you dont have 100b out it gives an error message "insufficient funds". You then go delete an cheap t2 build and get 15b in return. Well do it for 2-3 hours and u start slipping. You accidentally upgrade that t5 to lv3. Now have to delete it. Do that 10 times and there is 2t gone already. There was no reason to funnel gold anywhere. Not to banks not to Alts. Anywhere. Put them in BB. I had 10t in bars on one account alone. So had no need to funnel gold anywhere. Was oprah rich what's the point?? So that's where the gold we "funneled off" went. Or personally mine went. If I bought allies they were market buys for the most part. I didn't clear banks because I didn't want ppl to know I was oprah rich and bank clearing would be too obvious. Oh and those damn greaves So in retrospect was it wrong? I guess. Did it feel great. Damn right. Does it sting now....? In all honesty no. At first I was hulk pissed. Now that I realize that I have an unstable addiction to a tap tap game and can quit in peace knowing I won't have to worry about being stripped etc... I'm not so angry. So all in all it still did work out for the best I guess. Acct destroyed or not. You gonna remember me ~MIcK~
They did not break our product. Kaw is their product. It is a free to play app. Yes some of us pay, but it is optional. Lets put this into comparison. You go to the atm and you try to with draw $100. The atm goes crazy and shoots out $10,000 which is waaaaay more then was in your accoint. Do you get mad because the bank makes you pay that money back?
For all the people complaining about the real money they spent to only have it stripped away for them exploiting an error in the code.... Do I get back all the gold I was stripped of by a clan that had at least 3-4 people the devs reset?? I spend a decent amount of real money on this game that I used to build gold to buy allies.... Now these people abused the system and stole my "real money" And I knew about this, there was a thread posted explaining how to do it, but I didn't, now I have to suffer because of those that did choose to abuse it.

The question I have asked regarding that point (atm money)I have looked around to see - and as far as I can tell there is actually no legal obligation to return it. Please let me know if you do see something. As for it being 'their product' - they cannot do whatever they want. There is always legal and moral obligations when one enters into contract.
There is an absolute obligation to return it. I used to work for a credit card company and every once in a while an employee would make a mistake and credit to much money to a client, but I can guarantee you when the mistake was found we reached right back in and took the money back.
@KaW_Admin. Go scroll back through your forums. The thread was made and then locked. Ask who locked it and please also reprimand them for their incompetence. Because obviously they did not report it to you. I assumed that It was seen and reported immediately being as it was immediately Deleted. Later on in the week it magically appeared again but was merely locked this time. So maybe your mod saw it and tried to cover it up to advance their own growth??? All I'm saying is before you come blame us, do some inside house cleaning. Players are not the only ones responsible for this. You let it happen and didnt stop it. Players figured you didn't care
TNT : what legal reference is there? I read all sorts of crap on bad cheques, illegal use of bank cards and which parties are responsible for what ect. I cannot find anything. 'Actions' and 'rumor' are not law.
Only taking away the amount they "exploited the system" to get is the equivalent of saying it was okay to do it. If you get caught cheating on a test in college they don't just give you a zero on that test and let all prior grades stand. You are kicked from the class and quite possibly the college. If you are in charge of payroll at a company and "exploit" your position to put a bit extra on your check you are fired! They certainly don't just take the "extra" you gave yourself! Calling this a glitch, or exploit, or any other term you want to make your actions seem less criminal might make you sleep better, but it certainly doesn't change the fact. You took money you didn't earn over and over and over again, and apparently without any remorse! UPDATE to ATM comparison: the atm didn't magically spit out money. You were told a way to make the ATM spit out money! You went around to atm's over and over pulling out money that wasn't yours. What's your legal responsibility there??? Is it me or are these "exploiters" arguments boarder line crazy?
Update to the update on ATMs: So if I had two bananas and added an apple what would result? (Kidding) Seriously, it you admitted in your story that many of the other atm machines not only take out 'stolen' money but publish how to do it online you may have a point. Happy kawing!
Of these accounts caught manipulating system: - How many were participating in Estoc wars? - Did any of their ill gotten gains go towards enhancing their build strength? (allies, Mage item enhancements, lands etc...all possible) - Were outcomes of wars affected? ...thinking about it makes me angry
I was not in any ee's and probably would have left clan if I was as that would have been highly unfair was only eb'ing in my clan.
