As kaw stated the the word trials was not in reference to testing the EE system it was testing ur metal as warriors (para phrasing of course) That "exploit" was allowed to stand for weeks and weeks then they got refunds for their crap builds after the devs cut it out? That one cost me time rl money and tons of kaw gold
As I understand it, the whole initial Estoc war is indeed a testing of the system. Without spinning some nice stories for you guys, and giving some incentives which costs nothing to them, would you test the system out for them to do the necessary tweaks to improve it?
They gave out mith and in turn equip with that mith to players who won those wars making them stronger then every other player their size in the game .... At the cost of crystals time and kaw gold to the players having to fight these "exploited" builds then no punishment was laid out There was a beta testing period of 1 or two weeks before the release of the system in that time I would have had no issue if u choose to do beta testing ... Which I did .... And got screwed that's fine but after that it was open season for them to use this exploit for a month or so unchecked
If at the time the devs were made aware (if they weren't already) 2 weeks ago put out a statement saying we are aware there is a problem with our code and anyone bought using it will be dealt with I would not be here posting buy beware but the fact that they let it go for weeks after letting it become general knowledge with no word from them then allowing new players to use it after the repeated forum posts then punishing players who used it only after ata stayed quite on the matter is where my issues are
Well, as far as I know the details i) The developers did not understand the true mechanics of the tower builds initially, and they needed time to understand what happened. Same case I guess. Catching logical programming errors is never easy, if you know what I mean ii) Certain clans already had strategies to defeat a clan full of tower builds, without having tower builds themselves. That was part of history. Furthermore, the number of mithrils gained is limited because of the maximum number of wars per week. Even if they were to refund or change it, it is a matter of a few hundred mithrils, which could be easily bought by gold in the past. It's different in this case from my understanding, as the amount of gold that can be gained from the exploit is unlimited. In any case, I didn't take part in both exploits, so it doesn't concern me at all :lol:
They should have done that. But then again, everything in the game belongs to them. They have the right to do what they want with our accounts. Even if a player spends money buying things in game, ultimately it belongs to kaw. The player is not buying a property to hold or own. In such a game, it's quite simple. If unhappy, don't play the game. If happy, continue to play. It's just a game, and people gets so worked up over it. I'm really finding it hilarious at times :lol:
I agree it's just a game why get so upset But when some ppl pay serious cash to play they may be entitled to get upset if wat there paying for isn't fit for purpose in there eyes. And what is a forum for if not to express there feelings and thoughts on the game
And in there is the kicker do to their lack of action and subsequent punishment to players after they were made aware does it constitute a fraud on their part? I think it does and so far apple and google pay may be on the side of paying customers ... Given they have and will be giving refunds to pay for play players do to this ...., and yes I know there have already be refunds given out .. U do have rights to how ur real life dollars are treated in any business such as this no matter wat tou says in the USA once u pay for a service u are protected under consumer laws so we will see wat happens to those players screwed out of 100's if not 1000's of real life $ when this all sorts out
Not entirely true ... If u go to a restaurant and buy food pay ur bill then leave .... According to u the service u paid for is over But if u go home and get food poising from that food they are still liable for the device they provided
If u did this exploit and never paid a dime for ur account then u have no leg to stand on I agree but for those that have made purchased u are now a paying customer of ata and fall under consumer laws

And if the devs were responding to emails of feedback of any kind then I wouldn't need to be on the forums talking about it at all
Heck they aren't even answering the phone .. It goes straight to a fax machine .. Some customer support they are showing
Did devs just strip allies,builds bought from exploit or just strip all a players allies in whole even ones purchased before exploit was used??????
