Everytime u hit an eb ur generating gold from thin air or hit another player when he has less out where do u think most of the gold in kaw comes from?
So you're saying devs left it there/created it so that big spenders would get stripped and buy more nobs. Since they'd buy more nobs its not really theft. That's akin to saying shoplifting isn't stealing because the cost of stolen goods is passed onto other consumers so therefore manufacturers encourage it to move more product. I don't know why this is so hard to grasp. They took a chance and got caught.
This isn't like real money where a country has to back their dollor up with real substance and their is a limited amount of cash that can possibly be circulated In kaw gold is generated in all sorts of ways and all of it from thin air Their is no kaw treasury department regulating how many gold coins can be printed each year
No it's not saying that there is no goods being stolen by the exploiters that gold didn't belong to anyone before kaw generated it The theft was in kaw ignoring the fact the bad code was there letting paying customers to get stripped of things they paid for
Sure game generates gold but not through glitches and nowhere near that scale. All who did it knew it was wrong at the time but it was cheap and easy. It's up to ATA to protect the value of their currency - which is nobs. If they don't care to do so, people will take their real money elsewhere. Pretty simple.
There is and it is named ATA. There is a lot of "grey area" in life that you can try to squeeze into. You can argue about Pwar mechs and tower build mechs being fair or not. The building exploit is a black and white issue. Everyone doing it knew it was a whole new level of wrong/cheating. Being H1N3Y_HURT about losing your gold doesn't change that.
Just because u take something doesn't constitute theft it must first belong to someone else .... The gold generated in this exploit didn't belong to anyone Once it was in play and used to strip players that had payed for wat ever was taken that would then constitute some sort of theft and I believe that since it was common game knowledge for over two weeks "atleast" that the fault for said theft lies with the devs Oh btw everyone's example of leaving keys in a car ... Leaving ur car unsecured and running is illegal at least in this state and ur insurance company won't reimburse u for ur car being taken so u can stop with that comparison It's really not the same specially since the gold generated didn't belong to anyone
Oh and I'm not butt hurt I'm pissed that the devs inaction on this cost so many people so many issues then when they finally act they take it out on the players instead of taking the blame on themselves like they should have Both the players that used this exploit after two weeks ago and the players that have been stripped using the funds generated from this got completely screwed by the devs

Wow u exploit a glitch and expect a commendation for it, the stupdity is amazing get over yourselves you lost nothing and if you did lose something suck it that's what happens, DEVS don't owe u anything so suck it up n grow up
If u read the whole thread I'm not asking for anything nor do I want anything I asked questions of why this was allowed for so long after the devs knew about it and why the "punishments" were treated so differently then every other exploit that's ever been used in kaw
And my build is fine Ty I tore down towers so I could earn some plunder for pots and to repair my build for next season of EE wars ... And anyone who fought in 5-8 of them a week can tell u it's hard enough to keep ur pots up let alone grow specially if u lose a few in a row and have to buy mith

@Medic I'd agree, but I disagree too. Pwars spread across multiple games and expanded the games. Clans made it a normal things, not everyone knew about this exploit. It also made money because would blow crystals to get more plunder. Win win for both sides. This exploit only hurts ATA, this has no benefit to them except inflation, even more... And possible legal action and or quitting of whales. Like Eric said early, he dropped like 40 ranks or so after this exploit happened, that's a decent amount, and a lot of allies.
I took a test once in high school , there were 100 questions on the test, I didn't know 2 of the answers on the test so I look at my "cheat sheets", the teacher caught me and gave me an "F" I told her I only used my cheat sheet for 2 of the questions , so technically I should only be punished for the 2 questions I had to look up, so I told her my grade should be a 98% which is an "A",she just sat there and stared at me like I was an idiot , the nerve of her to give me an "F"
And there in lies the punishment, a total F. And there in lies the punishment, destruction of builds. The Devs felt you were cheating, that's all that matters. I don't think anyone, unless they have proof, can say nothing happened to these people who used the glitch a month ago. Maybe they were leading to ban a larger mass of people. Cops do it all the time, the show called "Bait Car" comes to mind. Unlock a vehicle, put the keys in, let some dumb ass steal it. Pull them over, charge them with theft.
