Where's the difference to you guys between LB players nobbing their way to gold or exploiting it? Does it effect you? No. Are your chances equal? No. Can you do that? No. Alls the same in my eyes. This was just the cheaper way.
While it might have been a part of game mechanics it still did not make it the right thing to do. Not only do I try to keep my online "integrity" intact I try to keep my real life integrity intact because both of them matter. Not as much online granted, but still from my own moral standpoint it does matter. With that bring said, do you try to cheat every video game you play? Do you look for all of those loopholes? I personally hate when people find a mistake in something and then exploit it as much as possible. Simple thing is yes it was an exploit, it was wrong to use this exploit to generate so much money, it's like virtual counterfeiting. Neither side is going to win this argument so I'm done posting after this one. If it feels like its the wrong thing to do it probably is, if it is the easiest path it is probably not the right one. Good things come to those who wait, not those who exploit.
Last post. Grand theft auto Enough said. I didn't use the exploit. I just don't care if people did. It's the devs fault the players shouldn't be punished.
Let it be known that mjob ain't speaking for Regulators or WDGAF. This was a punk ass move and we all stand by that. Apparently mjob poured some bad milk on his Cheerios today. ★R∑GμL∆†oR§★₩Ð₲₳Ƒ★
What's the difference between driving away a car with keys left in it and buying the car? In the end you have the same car. Seems fair to me. Nobody should buy cars then should they?
Did someone actually say the Devs can alter the ToU to favor specific ppl at their whim? The ToU is to give the Devs a certain amount of legal protection, but the contract goes both ways. When they accept your money they have an obligation back to the user to provide a fair and honest source of entertainment, any breach of this would void the protection of the ToU. They are a business, not gods.
They have changed the tou several times ... But read the last section they are still liable and fall under California consumer laws
Also no one is asking why the code was put in in the first place ... All the people getting banged seemed to be the ones who used it in the last couple weeks ... It's been in since February ... Who was using it then and wat were those funds used for? Why after it was brought to their attention 2 weeks ago in forums wAsnt it shut down ?
That is for the suspension of an account, to actually give an advantage or favor a player or group of players is what the previous statement said. The ToU is a nice document, but it does not give absolute power. This is a contract, they provide a service for a fee. There are obligations on both sides. Just saying.
Tell me it is a glitch ? It only works if u do a certain sequence of steps if it was a real glitch I would think it wouldn't have mattered the lvl of building built they would have all payed the same when sold and u would have had people complaining that when they sold t5 lvl 3 they only got 15 bil
The service you pay for is the transfer of xstals/nobs/propacks to your account, those nobs/xstals/propacks are owned by ata the entire time. Ata could "modify" an account and give, or take away virtual gold for any or no reason.
@nobody the TOU can say whatever it wants. It doesn't make it law. I own a finance company, we make every business owner sign a personal guarantee. The guarantee says if the company defaults we have the right to seize personal assets to compensate for our loss including house, car, jewelry, bank accounts or other assets. We file a broad based ucc to alert other lenders of this. But in reality if a client defaults and we seize his assets we are violating the law regardless of what our documents say.
If ATA were to give someone an advantage it wouldn't be illegal. I never said they were above the law.
