They would have every right, but they wouldn't do that. It would be bad business. Like Jesus said, taking what they bought, what they "exploited" would be making it right, not a punishment, these people deserve punishment. Strips with unearned gold would be a violation of the ToU. Disrupting my gameplay with means that I did not have an equal opportunity too is against the ToU. Be glad 155 didn't get completely banned.
Lol no they took the amount that was exploited not the amount that was given They took wat the player made at the exchange rate of sale after if the player put the money in bars .. Which most did to continue the exploit then sold the bars there was a 25% loss of gold ... Wat ata did was charged them how much they generated total
So say a player generated 10 t in fake gold they charged them 10t to their account Not taking into account that they only really made 7.5 t on the exploit And that's if the player didn't screw up doing it a few times and waste 175 bill having to reset up the exploit
But u guys got me off my point ... My point was that why was this exploit treated different from ever other one in kaw when it had the exact same result that all the others did why now why all the sudden and if this is the way of things now then it should be like this for every exploit from now on no matter wat it is
Why were these exploiters punished but others were not ? Heck towers not only got to keep wat they got but got refunds for their buildings
And that's where u and I differ in opinion I think as a paying consumer I have every right to question their actions regarding how they treat their customers
The Devs discussed if the build was an exploit, that's questionable. This was complete cheating and abuse of it caused ATA to take further action. Now we should have pity on them messing up the exploit? LOL that means malicious intent, they didn't say "oh I messed up I think I should stop" they said "oh I messed up, let's do it again!".
I have but as of yet no response ... Guess they are working on wat they are going to tell their paying costumers when they file complaints with apple and goggle pay
This. Wasn't. Cheating. You were more than capable of doing this till it was fixed. You just didn't figure it out. Don't hate on those that did.
This was cheating, get over it. Even if I did know about it I would not have done it. Taking the easy way is never the best way.
No, it wasn't. Tell me how I can cheat in a game completely controlled by code. Whatever the devs "say" goes. If they don't want you to do something, they make it so it can't happen. If you found a way to make easier gold your telling me you would look the other way. LOL! Riiiight.
If its obviously an exploit in the system mechs, yes I would not participate in it. Same as many others who knew about it but chose to not use it. Don't get butthurt because of doing what you knew was wrong to begin with. Kids these days, always expect **** to be handed to them for nothing.
Sorry but the tower build mech was nowhere near as bad as this. Tower builds could be countered, you just needed to know how. Yeah, tower build mechanic wasn't intentional, devs accepted it too and it was changed. Don't forget it wasn't killed off completely, (except in EE mechs) just adjusted. Whilst I agree something should of been offered by way of compensation I understand why it wasn't. I'm no programmer, but to track who lost xtals here and there because they couldn't KO Joe Shmoe in THAT estocs war last week on a Tuesday morning.....ugh This exploit was much more damaging. Argue all you want that an exploit is an exploit..but there are some worse than others. Some can disrupt the game completely and this was one of them.
@flaming machine Not really sure what you're talking about seeing as I never expected anything and I'm not a kid. The only thing I'm butthurt over is the fact I only found out about it after the fact. Lol yes I'm sure your online integrity is outstanding Completely within game mechanics. Not cheating. Devs should have caught it and fixed it MONTHS ago. Guess it wasn't that big a deal to them AKA not cheating.
