Although other life may exist, Jesus came to EARTH, in the form of MAN, to redeem our sins. God also made the Heavens and the Earth. Not the heavens, the earth, and Alpha Centauri with it's three legged transvestite ponies. I highly doubt that there is intelligent life, anywhere but here. Bacteria possibly. Earth is the Focus of the Whole Universe. God made it that way. I can't prove you wrong, you can't prove me wrong.
Zeth does make a very valid point. You can't prove religion wrong. I myself am Christian, but I'm trying to keep religion out of this.
God didnt tell atoms exists yet they are here. You can see science as an explaination of God's work, God caused the Big Bang and made atoms, laws of nature. The bible is after all written by man (as any other religious book) and it has the view of that time. If it were written today it would look so different
No, you didn't. You showed where is says God created life on earth. Nowhere did you show that God only created life on earth. Proof of one is not proof of the other.
@ Zeth I don't know. I don't presume to make conjectures on his behalf. I can only go by what the document we're referencing says he did.
Getting back on topic, this one gives a fairly accurate depiction of the relative size of things except for the last comparison. I don't make them . I just find them and post them.
@ Bio Yes I can, because there's evidence to support the claim. "First of all, we are reasonably certain that the universe had a beginning. Second, galaxies appear to be moving away from us at speeds proportional to their distance. This is called "Hubble's Law," named after Edwin Hubble (1889-1953) who discovered this phenomenon in 1929. This observation supports the expansion of the universe and suggests that the universe was once compacted. Third, if the universe was initially very, very hot as the Big Bang suggests, we should be able to find some remnant of this heat. In 1965, Radioastronomers Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson discovered a 2.725 degree Kelvin (-454.765 degree Fahrenheit, -270.425 degree Celsius) Cosmic Microwave Background radiation (CMB) which pervades the observable universe. This is thought to be the remnant which scientists were looking for. Penzias and Wilson shared in the 1978 Nobel Prize for Physics for their discovery. Finally, the abundance of the "light elements" Hydrogen and Helium found in the observable universe are thought to support the Big Bang model of origins. http://www.big-bang-theory.com/ It's not the only theory, but it's the prevailing one for the birth of the universe.
Actually, the Prevailing one for the Birth of The Universe, is in the Bible. It didn't take God millions of years to make us, and we didn't evolve from Monkeys. Or as believed in the case of my blood type, Lizards.
