Honestly, this is the first point I've raised against KAWs updates; I've never felt the need to complain about them before.
I think you have a fair argument and its not unreasonable to explore possible improvements to the recent updates. I personally have a different opinion is all.
Players asked for better clan roles for months. They also asked for a gold sink (though this is a minimal one). Devs found a way to incorporate both. They are never going to implement something exactly as players suggested. Now on to the OP...clan roles seemed strange for me since the beginning. I couldn't understand why there were roles who could accept members and not kick them or whatever it was. I would prefer such a system as suggested, where you can pick what abilities each person has. Simple and effective and allows for customization. I'd prefer no limits to roles too. Especially given the amount and trying to give the right role to the right person. Personally I don't really have an issue with paying for roles. It gives clans that can't afford it in one go to work towards something. It encourages them to get stronger, run better ebs and earn more gold to unlock. Theoretically, I think if you're really interested in running a clan - you will work towards unlocking what's needed. It should also stop noobs making clans and trying to run them just because. I.e having the blind leading the blind. I don't think it's the best implementation of a clan system. But in saying that, devs did listen to players about a new clans structure. Unfortunately they cannot please everyone. It's nice to see that they have been working on new things as they promised in other threads.
Your info isn't even correct in the op, op, wc can mute anyone below their rank, do everything owner can besides change name. Tip' as soon as you make big errors on something cut and dry outlined, you'll be ignored and ridiculed for not doing basic fact checking. This is the Internet not pre-school.
