Get Rid of all the Guides: Thinking for ourselves the Swabia

  1. Lol. Nice.
But as you say. I don't make guides either even though I'm top 200 LB.
And was once in top 100 too. :)

What I do is answer forum posts n give private tuition over 3rd party app rooms.
    Very much like Swabia.

And Swabia n all the rest of KaW'z smartie pants they're not really in top 200 LB for a REASON they're not whales.

They play this game finding the loopholes, secrets, etc to share with the rest.

With this I share with you my deep respect to Swabia n the rest of the forum making guiders. Without you noobs won't grow n we wouldn't have a chance to see noob rage, noob tears , etc.

Oh. Did OP say Swabia didn't write guides. Lol you are so wrong. Swabia's guides are the best n only available in a very private iG website.

Cheers mates. Keep KaW going strong

  2. Precisely moose. I made a guide so that others could benefit and explore another aspect of kaw.

But i sure as hell am not smarter than the majority.

  3. I'm too selfish to impart my knowledge to the masses

  4. I agree my clan was one of the first to do items in FOD but it took forever. The wulf made a guide for it and nooby clans who rnt that smart did FOD easily the next day. Guides r useful but annoying.

  5. Don't like guides? Don't read them.

  6. I believe that Swabia has previously stated in one of his threads before that he has alliances with iG and Zaft and all of them? Also, he's not an idiot to go and attack the biggest war clans in the game with only 30-50 players. OP, you need to share whatever drugs you are doing with me.

  7. @ noob OP: its ZAFT not Zaft.

  8. I also disagree with you, philosopher. When I started out, I read Raeki, dilly and toasts guides because I had no clue what I was doing and the tiny clans I got walled to join were just as clueless as me. If not for those guides, I'm sure I would've deleted the app within a few days.
While there are an unnecessary amount of guides in forums, at least only the good ones get stickied so they're easy for new players to find and the crap guides fall into oblivion. 

  9. @weezus it's a simple typo homi

  10. Hmm… the people who have made their guides, made them knowing their knowledge would be widespread among KaW, and therefore we can assume they made it for the community.

So screw that. If you want to lock YOUR OWN THREAD, feel free to ask developers or moderators…

This information is not private, nor it breaks ToU…

So at last, I'll make a quick summary of the damn post.

The Philosopher would like schools to be closed since he'd like to possess a better advantage to newbies joining KaW? Or basically, "every man for himself".

Now, this is also a social game, so… if you'd play like that, it's gonna be a bad time ;)

  11. Breakdown - This is a war strategy game. If all the stragies are out in the open for the public o read and learn, no one has the advantage.

    Hopefully those BBcodes worked.

  12. Lol they did and I must say there's TONS of good strategies that aren't on forums still u just have to learn them and play around with stuff :)

  13. I dun no y alotta people dont like moose.

Moose bro I just think u talk too much so I never fully read ur threads cuz ur so condescending.

  14. Truly it is a war game.

But you can't go and block my public teaching to the noobs, can you? (an example).

I'm not saying that we have to make guides. I have no extra knowledge so I may think differently… but what I mean is, is it fair to take away the guides? Is teaching players against ToU?

This is a war game, that depends on connections too (I meant it's also social).

  15. The only thing I find wrong is your third point about giving away their tactics. Everyone in this game complains that the PvP part of this game disappeared. Cause of that less and less people are learning about war. With these guides it helps those who dont understand the PvP part as much. The more people we get to understand about war, the more PvP we will have.

Unless you just want to see the same people warring all the time an let the PvP part slowly die, and when it comes to ASW, and other special event wars you get paired with people that dont know **** about war and you get dominated.

Just saying think about who the guides actually help before getting mad at them. Guides are for beginners.

  16. If you don't like the guides, don't read them. ._.

  17. I'm not encouraging people to post guides, I could care less. If they didn't, I would explore the mechanics myself and keep my discoveries to myself and the newbies I teach.

I'm sorry if I think too differently, I just don't see why would making guides be blocked.

(I did understand your comment of keeping strategies to one another :D ).

  18. Breakdown - You can teach noobs all you want, just don't publicly share valuable information on the forums for every other noob to read. Like you said, there is a social aspect of the game and, yes, we have allies and friends. It's great to teach them what you know becuase they're your friends and on your side. If your information was to be plastered all over forums, however, other noobs and other players would be able to access it and it could, and would, work against you. The point of the game is to get and upper hand on people and fight your way to the top, not share all your secrets and let others topple over you.

  19. Nouv - That's not the issue. The issue is letting everyone access information that people had to spend alot of time to figure out.
