Icecubes, this thread is no long about any type of "study", these are observations and trends that a lot of us have noticed. Take a look the players posting in this thread. We war...a lot. It's not like anyone just noticed these discrepancies once and made a thread about it. These are things we see repeating themselves on a regular basis.
@cupckes, the troop loss with pots thing is something I've noticed as well. Sometimes on bigger targets I'll use the new attack pots and if I get a victory I'll try my next hit with the standard 11. A couple times I've noticed that I'll win that next hit with less pots but my troop loss also went down. Seems to defy basic game logic (the stronger your victory over your opponent, the less troops you lose). Maybe as opponents troops go down you're needing to use less but the relation between both players troop levels and the additional 70,000,000 attk from those pots still seems off. I'll try and screen shot it sometime.
You guys do take in account that you lose more troops when attacking than defending thus making your attk power go down faster than the enemy's attack power? Further more i find this tread intresting and it seems kaws mechanics on battling is a bit different than in the old days
Yup its crazy lol. And at the guy above my stats aren't pwar stats lol...prolly 50% of my wins and losses come from warring.
I've also noticed an illogical win/loss pattern which seems to not be phased by pot or equipment use. They have already protected smaller players as making them dtw to bigger players. If Devs are worried about small player abuse, i say what are clans n clan mates for? Oh yeah, i forgot, everyone is in an eb coma.
After spending Wednesday hitting the battle list all day, I was left slightly confused by some of the results and after reading this thread I noticed a lot of people with similar results. Hitting from the bl I don't generally check stats, just hit the first person at the top. I hit the guy at the top as norm and failed two out of three so I checked this guys stats expecting him to be hlbc, full of titans or with a beastly bfa. Now this guy was approx 6.5 mill cs, with no pro packs or eb items with approx 30 bill in allies and wasn't a defence heavy build, in fact I think he was mostly cf and coe. after doing this I regenned and found a guy with similar stats/bfa with pro packs and the shield (def bonus). I went 3/3 on this guy from full with no pots. I spent the rest of the day hitting the bl with varying results, mostly getting through on guys much bigger than these in both stats and bfa with no trouble. Firstly with both these guys bfa and stats compared to mine, getting through shouldn't be an issue, secondly, are these pro packs worth it?. When I originally bought the pro packs I did so not because of the extra nobs or the 25% bonus but to level the playing field considering that the majority of people had them. The whole thing has left me confused on the value of pro packs and perm items and the basic game mechanics in general, if anyone would care to shed any light i'd appreciate thoughts.
Yea it's totally off. There's no way I should lose as much as I do with my bfa using max pots vs a kingdom with no pots and half my bfa. I mean you can have enuff bfa like red-star to be "opponent to strong". They need to readjust the algorithm. Would really like to see more mods in here or get a dev to take a few mins to post here.
