  1. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  2. @Cynder

    Is that possible?

  3. Bump. Because the headings are awesome

  4. o.o so old

  5. But it's so sexy.

The reason I came across it actually was I was googling images to use for one of the banners (can't remember which one).

And for some strange reason, one of the images that came up was the one that said "KaW Lingo".

I was like wtf is that? So I clicked the image and it brought me to the thread!

  6. Light bulb-ed please

  7. Lol I made those such a long time ago, it was really king of easy.

  8. What program did you use to make the sub headings? they're sexy as hell

  9. Photoshop cs4

  10. Ah. Screw that. I dont have the money

  11. It wasn't really that expensive, but I have cs6 now

  12. Fantastic guide but there's one small problem :)
Under the " clan " heading the light purple Colour is hard to read just thought is let u know :)

  13. AU$4344

@MM Im sure you've heard about Adobe recently going to the Australian Parliament to explain the inflated price. It is cheaper to fly to 'Merica, buy CS, and fly back to Oz. Yeah, it's that expensive. Lol.

Teachers and students get a great discount for Adobe products (sometimes free!) in the States. I wonder if Adobe Aus has a similar system there. If not check Apple Inc and/or your uni's student support centre for bargains to students/faculty.

Credit where credit is due OP, your titles are good for Photoshop work. I couldn't tell if the font was Aliased or Anti-Aliased. Thank you for not changing the dimensions of your work. It is a pet peeve of mine when someone messes up a good image by distorting the size and the sharpened edges become frayed.

FYI, you should've used a vector based graphics program like Illustrator CS (which offers tools that would be of greater use for that type of work). Then convert it to pixel data and save as a general raster-based PNG/JPEG file. At that point you could use it in Photoshop and continue your design as though it were an image. You really can't do much design when you're working with the tools that aren't optimized for that task.

It's like saying ....you're using a clothes iron to make a grilled cheese sandwich. Yeah, that works as an ad-hoc solution but a panini press would be better. If you wanted to control the surface-area-to-mass-ratio of toasted crunchy bread to a tender cheesy bread interior cavity then a panini press could do that much easier and faster than a generic iron. You'll have greater control on how the end result will come out. 

That... or I'm just being an insufferable neurotic fool over-analyzing mundane details. Based on your signatures I've seen on the forums you seem to have a penchant for creating work on PS. Open up the other programs in the Creative Suite and play around with it.

  14. Damn. You know your stuff.

    I'll definitely look into that!

  15. Lol, why ty, but I'd beg to differ. I have a somewhat encyclopedic knowledge but nothing profoundly thorough. My friends call me the "poor man's Wikipedia." 

  16. @Imaginary
There is a player named Wikiepdia

  17. Without my horrid misspelling that is

  18. Lol, how cheeky, I was referring to the site not the player. Predictive text FTL.

Hmmm. Seems OP has taken off their signature. I'm pretty late in realizing that.

  19. I will surely try working with other programs.

  20. ah no it only shows up when I post on my pc. I currently have a happy Easter one up.
