Favorite Music Solo?

  2. When it comes to guitar solos, Eric Clapton and Peter Frampton are excellent, along with Slash from GnR. Dimebag Darrel, Dave Mustane,Joe Satrioni all great great musicians.

    There are a couple of solo's in Rock history that really brings out the Beast..

    Here's one in particular that sometimes gets lost cos it's so short (and the song carried other tunes and choruses the rest of the way)..

  7. Not so much of a solo, but the whole song... Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson. If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend it. Such a smooth sound for an electric guitar

    One of my favorite solos is dimebag in "floods". It isn't flamboyant, but it soothes my soul and relaxes me.

    On another side, "orion" by Metallica is one of my favorite instrumentals as well and does the same
