  1. I think the only thing that can be claimed as extortion (other then making some sort of RL demand) is telling another player they have to delete the app (not even resetting would qualify as extortion)

  2. If people resort to making people reset, that is, again, a loss of money if they have real money invested in the game. Like I said. Its not EVERYDAY extortion, But it happens and its not very cool. I mean, There are 40 year olds that play this game and they could be bullying a little kid asking for money just "For the lulz" ? Thats kind of messed up.

  3. I can't believe anyone would seriously pay an extortion. Get in game help. I wonder if an extortionist would continue if you became a member of a badass clan.

  4. ...Wut?

  5. Op email ATA then, seals and horns are dropped unless they ask for money as in a google play card or iTunes it doesn't count.

  6. Players age is irrelevant, since we're not supposed to be stating our ages to each other ..per TOU

  7. Courtesy of wikipedia: "Extortion (also called shakedown, out wresting, and exaction) is a criminal offence of obtaining money, property, or services from a person, entity, or institution, through coercion. Refraining from doing harm is sometimes euphemistically called protection. Extortion is commonly practiced by organised crime groups. The actual obtainment of money or property is not required to commit the offense. Making a threat of violence which refers to a requirement of a payment of money or property to halt future violence is sufficient to commit the offense".

  8. But I am saying that there are little kids who pay and can't afford it. It is really hard to get a seal drop and or enough nobility from quests.

  9. Not everyone can afford everything in life. I can't afford a Ferrari does that mean no one else can buy one?

  10. Anyway, The reason I brought this up, is there are people who support this and are too afraid to say it. My little brother tried stealing money off of my fathers card to pay for seals to make people stop hitting him. He is of a certain age that I will not state. But it just goes to show...

  11. Raven your def of EXTORTION applies to REAL LIFE this is an "MMO-RPG"

    RPG= ROLE PLAYING GAME 

  12. Nope. It applies to the acceptance of money. You make a THREAT "I will not stop hitting your account till you use REAL money to buy a seal" Then accept that seal. That is extortion. It applies everywhere.

  13. Lock per OP request.
