Event Suggestions

  1. Well we have three aspects of the event: Epic battles, PvP and EE Wars. Why not have a System War aspect too? I think it'd be really cool:)
    They would only be 3 hours long, or maybe 2..
    This would affect prestige and there are different reward tiers.. like... top 50 SW prestige clans get _____ and top 10, top 5, #1....
    you get the point, lol.
    I think this would be super fun. Can always 'spice it up' a bit too, with new mith spells just for the SW and pots maybe.. :)
     
  2. I also think that once a month for two days there should be an 'event' to incentivize big and old players to help new and small players. Or maybe even recruit new players entirely. Then have rewards for effort.
    I think I might even make a more detailed thread about this, if ppl like this idea on THIS thread.
     
  3. That shard event was the best thing to happen on KaW, from my timeframe at least. I didn't do too well but it was the most fun I had playing.
     
  4. An event that would encourage clan loyalty. Or what about an option where players can choose to donate event items collected into a communal clan chest where at the end of event, rewards are distributed to all members equally. Average of items per member equals a certain reward tier? Bigs can help smalls and event hoppers can still hop but donate to home clan?
     
  5. New EB events are best, 1 item, sale of crux chest and a little higher sb payouts for the higher the reward tier.
     
  6. Was thinking about maybe random health crystal drops during pvp and war. For the events. It may increase the number of people who participate. Could have it done the same way as mith.
     
  7. Sorry if someone said this already, but it would be awesome to start the next event with some badass fire raging armor that drags there foe to the pits of hell. Where I'll be waiting, hehe.
     
  8. I would like to see clan event bonus. For example a clan gaining a set amount of points/items as a whole and perhaps a plunder bonus or extra strength % clan spell. I don't know if this is viable however would be great for clan loyalty.

I don't know whether this has been suggested but possibly a throwback event to something previously done like the moth Hunter event, where you'd get the same equip bit with increased stats obviously, I feel like some of the older players who participated in the event may enjoy this, would so be cool to show off the old equip in a new light

I like the idea of combining both epic and war in an event clan vs clan and as a small reward for being in the world leader board top ten ie a banner token or something and I think a loyalty banner with clan initials on it which upgrades every month you stay in your clan after 12 months you keep this reward leave before 12 months u lose it and get base lvl in new clan u join plus clans doing same epic at same time can challenge each other to race to finish first reward to be added to event items just a suggestion like the race to finish first tho

    Now...make friends with them, buy them some drinks, tell them you like their outfit, and start using them....please.

  14. I see lots of comments about clan based events and clan loyalty. Expound on those ideas if you will.
     
  15. First question before we consider expanding on clan idea.
    Devs before you stated we could not be linked to clans ( ie for when people left for EE wars ) and stated that you couldn't implement anything until you had a viable elegant solution to link players to clans.
    This linking a player to an active war clan and home clan.

    Can you now link players to clans especially if they have to leave for periods of time for EE wars?
    Could you have players allowed to leave and return to clan for example for an hour to help friends ?
    Would there be a way to switch off and on a spell that links a player to a boost for a home clan that only operates in one nominated home clan ?

    Outside of that, having any loyalty link would lock players into a clan which players would have to forfeit each time they help friends, indi or EE wars etc.

    Clan boosts that tax a % of the total earnings for each eb and distributed over a set percent of spoils per action would certainly allow clans to help build up weaker members.
    And clans would self enforce who they let into clans due to the clans wealth being evenly distributed between member participation for each eb.

    Just a few thoughts.

  17. A good idea only if well laid out. Idk why some ppl say clan loyalty when so many ppl hop for events or ZTA. Furthermore it sounds like an eb only proposition that ignores war clans. As of yet i've not seen a well thought out and viable proposal yet. Loyalty is a fickle word with different aspects for KaW and the nature of ppl's play styles.
     
  18. From the prior thread I made, how about this setup? ...

    I've got an idea for a clan based promo. I've had the idea for awhile and decided maybe it was worth tossing out there for others' thoughts and ideas to improve it.

    Basically, a second promo, that runs alongside the individual promos that we currently have. This second promo is clan centered though.

    The basics... every hit on an eb in that clan is worth 1 item, regardless of eb diffuculty (ie. warbeasts vs. haunts vs. lotl). By hits I mean atks/steals/assassinations/scouts ONLY, item stages like haunting don't count. Obviously, a more difficult eb will require more hits and thus more drops...but will also take longer so the drops per hour/day really come down to how active the clan is.

    If a clan has 1000 hits on ebs in that clan that day, they get 1000 items. It doesn't matter if the hitters stay for one eb or the whole day. Devs just simply take the eb history and award the clan drops based on successful hits on the eb. The rewards are then also clan based and not set to the person. For example, say a clan makes a reward tier that gives a plunder bonus for a week. Basically, it works just like battle cry as a plunder bonus for anyone in the clan hitting the eb while the bonus is active. If the person leaves, they take their individual spells with them but not the clan's spells. The idea then is to promote some clan unity. Stay in clan to build the biggest reward possible, then stay in clan to reap that big reward after the promo ends.

    There's no reason this setup couldn't run at the same time as an individual promo like we have going now. If anything, it would probably work best to do them together as it's a double incentive for folks to xstal, etc. Premium ebs such as HTE, RWB, and ZTA could drop at a 1.5x rate to incentivize the purchase of those items. Battle cry also should boost drop rates to 1.25x.

    Off hand, without lots of xstals, I'd say most "full" clans see about 30k hits per day (so about 420k over 14 day promo). That's about 6 unloads from 80 people per day with some extra glitch hits. So, maybe make some basic tiers like we have for individual rewards and then a top 1, 10, and 50? Something like that?

    So, what do you all think for rewards? Plunder bonuses are the most obvious and easy to implement I would think. Otherwise perhaps some new clan stuff could be rewarded like additional admin spots? #1 clan gets 1 additional spot so could have 101 members with a cap at 120 like foxes and ig? Add a new clan ranking like the old war prestige rankings but based on average finishing place in the clan promo? Any other ideas?

    Also, the clan promo setup could be used for PVP as well. All those who cast for PVP and get rewards in clan get the clan 1 item per successful atk or steal on other PVP cast players. Anything to help PVP would be awesome. Award large PVP plunder bonuses as a reward and I think you'd start seeing more PVP based clans and many more accounts in OSW opting in. If you're gonna hit Zaft/Apoc/whoever all day anyway, wouldn't it be nice to get 50% bonus plunder per hit while doing it? 100% bonus plunder?
     
  19. Better story lines based on what the games has now and not what it will have in the future. To do a series based on the Oracle, the mage, and the alchemist. Or to use leader board players in these series of stories. Anything other than those dang confusing legends.
     
  20. How" about a profile icon from events ie a good scout gets a scout pic on there profile page good attacker gets a soldier pic and so on good thief gets thief pic with a small % added to that and also the same for war and pvp event so others can see were they can fit in in war and epic ️
