@zZ-Super-Zz - They probably can't do that. There r other things affecting it too like numbers, stats of players and stuff.BFA is not the only thing to consider
Do what val said EE is a major reason people war.. and mith is the other, offer mith to the losers not ee to them! ee allows people to alter build to war mode and keep the same growth or pot supplies. Offer mith at 25-50% less than a winning clan i mean every war you are using 14 and at half what most win in a war lets say 100, 50 mith - 14 = 36 mith so i can upgrade some gear or wait a very long time for items
Worms, I am glad you got match, even I don't like Val, but I wish you guys the best, you guys can win this.
So we have followed up on your feedback during this past war and actively monitored clan BFA (in real-time). The biggest increase that we saw over the course of 2 hours was 5.85% which would not have affected the match ups that were created for everyone. We will continue to do this for the rest of the week and rest-assured if any clans do exploit this, we will take action. Thanks!
Regarding BFA: Sometimes I don't have the time to properly ally shop leading up to a war. Its a process to do it right. The 2 hours leading up to a war when I plan to be more active is a good time to do it... not exploiting just sometimes a time issue. Secondly, nothing against PoC but I was pulling for Worms today. Respect to you guys
Jams, PoC had more members signed up and were the stronger clan in ranks. PoC also has had more EE experience with less no matches than the worms. I think the worms did a crazy good job whacking them though. That's the second time I've seen them come close to whooping a clan people usually refer to as 'unbeatable'. I like the worms.
@Devs ZZ has it the winning plan -to increase the number of matches you need to combine clan strength into 1 number and only match on size and strength instead of multiple metrics. I suggest a strength function something like: troop strength (assuming troops 25% full = 12.5x stats + 38.5x tower stats) + bfa + bfe + 12.5 * 4 * cs from guilds matching on only one strength number plus clan size should be far less restrictive. Furthermore it will be much easier to tweak the strength function over time if you find a problem with the match-ups.
You want guilds and towers to count higher than other buildings? Why not count spy stats differently to attack stats too, just take all the strategy out of building for war. - Jernau
@Jernau A good strength function would have the property that warring clans of equal strength would have an equal chance of winning. It is hardly a "strategy" to assume the developers make a mistake in matching up clans such that there will be an unfair match-up in your favor if you build towers and guilds. With a correct strength function, there is plenty of room for strategy in war. In fact, a correct strength function would allow for far more interesting strategies than what is currently possible: build guilds, towers, and have high bfa - duhh.
It was not on today's wart but one if the previous ones - members of the opponent clan bought allies if one member of our clan during war. My suggestion is that, once roster locks, allies cannot be bought or sold. This solves all the issues about tricks on bfa.
Agreed with LA, if you can't buy building after roster locked, why allow buy allies, if cant buy allies, don't allow allies to be hired, like la said, no ally trade after roster locked. If ppl have a lots gold out, buy allies before roster locked or just buy pots, you are gonna need them anyway.
