Interesting to see how this changes things. Radical change in direction. Looking forward to the test. Will hold judgement till afterwards.
KO and duration: same a regular season - 10 minutes???? Wasn't last season fixed at 15? Can you please clarify if this is a fixed KO duration of 10 mins or this is a minimum duration with a 5 min variable either side? If BFA isn't factored into the matchups surely you are creating more mismatches were top LB players are able to hit HLBC players due to roughly the same base stats but a huge differential in BFA meaning it wouldn't work in reverse? It would be helpful to have some answers so that your community isn't confused and can plan accordingly. Thanks in advance
I love the Estoc War trials you are putting on at the moment, the only problem is, the times. I live in Europe, if I want to war with my clan, I have to be awake at 3:00am to do so. This ruins the remainder of my weekend. I've seen lots of complaints in the forums about this. Europe is just as big as N. America and more densely populated than Canada. I can't say the same for the populations in Asia combined, but we need to meet in the middle here. I have a suggestion to make the times more equitable for all. Have 12-wars instead of 6. That would add additional time slots each day that would work out better for all players, with Clan-mates from across the globe. To make it more fair, limit players to a maximum of 6-wars per weekend, if you deem it necessary. I really hope you will act on this suggestion ASAP, to make gameplay better for all. Thank you.
Interesting changes. Will see how it works out in test But predictions. Far more boring with even less targets to hit. Then no BFA or BFE. What will this mean in matchups. Any guild heavy clan will eat noob clans alive with their huge BFE. Leaderboard clans unless they get matched up together will obliterate lesser clans due to BFA and BFE. Going to have to use a certain tactic in these wars. You work it out, but any that do will destroy the mismatched clans. Guild hansel easy minimum payment in wars done and dusted. Eb equipped hl attack build vs red and purple guild hansel. Guess what the guild wins the attacks. Season 1 ko system so tracking back in step In the right direction but you could try the 1 minute advantage. During these trials and faster regen rate. Also try the divisions. You already use them in matchmaking. Loosen controls a bit and add the no repeat matchups in one week unless no choice. No match up will ever be perfect so rotate the matches about and give everyone a fair shot. But factor all things in. BFE outweighs the strength of a build these days until you balance that some will never stand a chance. Give them repeat matches against the same clans they will never stand a chance. We don't need dtw in wars. We need minimum payment (50mil) to end the guild hansel with huge BFE and BFA exploit. It's that simple.
Not counting in bfa, and bfe will result in more horrible matches. I propose matching clans as close as possible based on overall strength counting all bfa, and bfe. To further even matches out never give the stronger clan a number advantage. Must account for how much advantage a plus 1 is worth. Also if they are off by a few 100 million and up by 1 give lower clan option to add from a list of members who will even out and bigger clan option to drop from a list to even out(first to act final). Doing this will let the best builds and strategy prevail.
The problem with guild hansels is the risk reward factor. If you balance what they make per hit with what they pay while being hit it takes the advantage away from having them. A much better solution than making them not be able to hit anyone.
To clearify my points: - I am not trying to come across as arrogant, but I have learned the only way to effect change in this game is to hit the devs where it counts---- their pocketbooks. Killers United sitting out this weekend will cost the devs at a minimum 300 xstals. More likely it actually is 336 xstals, which translates to anywhere between $200 and $336 depending on which xstal package we purchased. - I would have been open to trying the DTW/DTS system; however, BFA not added into matchup calculation does not favor the EE war clans who have specifically geared their BFA into a range for matchups. - Trust me, I understand more than most that these are test wars. However, they cost real $$ to buy xstals for. They cost time to compete in, and if it is going to be a less fair matchup than it normally is.... It isn't worth the time or money. My time is better spent doing equip ebs for my clan members to balance out their equipment. -Also, losses cost Estoc Edge & Prestige and with the risk of unfair matchups so high, it is in our clan's best interest to sit this weekend out. -Skippyeddo ḲɩḶḶэṜṢ - ɄᴎɩㄊэḌ
The problem with guild hansels is that there are too many with max equipment that can now attack a normal attack build when they are full and win. It's not risk and reward its win win for some of them. Any uneven match up BFE wise they get a free ride and their low pay means the other clans cannot do squat. Season 1 proved that. End the exploit simply with a minimum payment system during wars and no problem. Newbs can still war at an acceptable level making more in war profit each actually helping them. Those that dropped builds to exploit or built alts to exploit instantly become more balances in the overall scheme of war. Plunder is supposed to be a representation of damage done to the enemy per hit. It needs a minimum system not an " ok here's how to exploit system". That will automatically balance a lot of the matches. Even numbers per team is essential if matches go down this route. Oh and don't open the debate that the plunder system doesn't even account for half of the actions in war so half our damage to the enemy is unaccounted for in the current reward system.
I think its unfair if you still insist on taking away ee if you lose war or leave clan during these trial periods. By all means up the ee to the winner of the war but don't penalise the loser by dropping his ee. Also we should not lose edge for leaving clan. A lot of us have war clan and home clan and again its unfair losing edge during trials. You should reinstate all lost edge during trials and cease dropping it until season starts at the very least.
I only want to be clear on wat ur testing Ignoring bfe/bfa durning matching but leaving in the bully mechanic I get If I sign up for war with my cs and ur only looking at cs for matching I could in theory match cella or redstar at my current cs? Second question durning the war would I be dtw to them or open for hits ? I only ask cause 1 we are no where near the same strength matching us is just silly and two if I'm dtw durning the war to them then ur match up system would be flawed in its own principle ... We can't hit each other then we shouldn't match if we can hit each other then the match should be closer? I won't go into complaining this is only a test but is like to know how this will effect in war mechanics so I can at least explain it to my clan
Why did we do all this reseting for ko just to go back to what we already had!?! I liked the ko with advantage. I don't want to sit there and as soon as I come out of ko get smashed
BFE and BFA Has way to much influence to be simply ignored. GH issue is easily resolved even out what they pay vs what they earn. They are a bleed, easy targets but they often ignored cos they pay bad
Ko system was fine if the matches were close Only 2 reasons u got say on 1 bad uneven match 2 u guys aren't very good at war I think the only way to make both sides happy with the ko system is to go back to 15 minutes with a 1-2 minute advantage Allows players who feel like they are being sat on a jump on the players ( if ur getting sat on the whole two minutes u really need to look at ur war strategy) And it stops the spam fest that all the ee clans and players are complaining about making these wars boring
One of the greatest things about ee was that after initial ko (and before xtal use) anyone could essentially ko anyone. Adding dts/dtw takes away the fun and will be a massive headache for commanders. Also: if you aren't including bfa/bfe in match up that have no relevancy in ee wars themselves?
It's test wars. Chill all. I'm pretty sure a lot are waiting for the changes of bfe and GH to come, just like me . But as for this week, ALL clans with high BFA and BFE is pretty much gonna win 100%. My suggestion: under 150m CS bfe and/or lower than 1t in allies...don't war--you're just wasting xtals and time most likely
Based in the updated test criteria, these next wars promise to be seriously lame. I really hope I'm missing something here.
