@ Hiney. How is the fact that some people join trial in clans where 50% or more have zero static defense the devs fault or the matchup systems fault? I have had to change build back and forth for over 1.5tjust from adding and removing towers to be succesful in EE wars. Are these plunder clans filled with special needs people that do not understand after 1 ee experience that they might have to tweak builds, require xtals? They get hammered once and ~70% of inc at start is assa and rest of war they get sat on by atktroops. Most of these clans have atleast 3-4 helpful mercs that do their best trying to help and explain. Plunder clans refuse to sacrifice that precious haunting plunder by adding the rquired towers and altering build. That is not the devs fault, and even less so the fault of those that have altered builds, spent late nights and money on xtals but still have lower plunder with lvl5 ee because of towers then some random plunder clan noob has without ee. They get the matchup they deserve. Fair and square.
Also I followed all the wars as I always do when I'm not in them ... And I agree the better prepared clan should win ... But sadly that's not going to be the case if the devs continue down this path of "fixes" it will become a spam-fest of button mashing and nothing more
Regen timing is great as i dont have to wait so much. The only problem i had was that the game was constantly freezing. I come out of ko try to attack but the game freezes, when the game resumes i get like 20 notifications at once and m koed!
I wouldn't say we were slow to sko, It just got increasingly difficult as the war went on. I think my ultimate point is scouting has no place in system wars.
I like the new system. It is interesting and there are new strategies being developed. Yeah it is different and I was better with old system in place but this has created new challenges and my clan has stepped up and warred. We have down well and part of the strategy is getting a roster that will do well in wars. I would like to point out that matches seemed better last season before honey and your crew whined about bfa not being taken into account. Then you moved on to other things to complain about instead of just learning what work and what doesn't. The system is the same for everybody. Good clans learn how to war within it and adapt to changes and other clans just complain that the devs gave them bad matchups. I for one enjoy the new trial wars...as so many asked for more wars apparently just so they could complain in the forums more. Keep the wars coming KAW there are enough people wanting to learn how to war correctly and don't spam the forums.
I think me and wisdom are more on the same page then not ... Maybe just a little confused on where I stand on the issue
Ours was a solid match and we got beat. Luck of the draw when 74 clans sign up. We make a war roster, and have been trying different tactics within the boundaries of the new trial format(s). Either war or don't, and if you do, focus on your match and don't /wrists because your match may be less favorable than another clans. Personally I'm enjoying testing new builds and tactics instead of dredging along with the same format of rancor wars.
Thanks for the wars devs. May we have more soon please? You can change the rules every time as far as I am concerned. I sure had fun this weekend. I hope others did too.
War withdrawal is the pits!!! Keep cranking out those wars devs!! Regen time would be more effective 10-15 minutes out to counter the turtle war system. Fortunately, the game stalling out during attacks/hits only happened twice, this last war, to me. It's got to be hard pleasing everyone!!! Lots of fun for me anyway.

You are doing a great job though with the wars. Keep up the good work. And try including Rancor lvls too in the wars as an incentive
Variable times are good. 5-10 just seems too short. Try 10-15 or 10-20 (mandatory at 15 or 20). I agree with princess above.
I like the new blitz wars..I didn't at first but now I really enjoy them. However they are a different style of warfare then the two hr wars. The 4, hr wars were too long.
My opinion is based on participating in one 2 hour war and one 1 hour war this weekend, both of which my clan won. Here are my thoughts: 1. The 5-10 min wake-up-from-ko mechanics were interesting for the 1 hour war, but got tedious in the 2 hour war. 2. So perhaps keep the 1 hour wars with the new wake-up-from-ko mechanics (which de-emphasizes the need for trackers), but have the 2 hour wars use the old system (which requires skilled trackers). That way, people who like the old system will be happy, and those that want an alternative with less emphasis on trackers and xtals (and time commitment) will also be happy. 3. That said, one thing I don't like about the 5-10 min wake-up mechanics (even in a one hour war) is the fact that people can sko on you before you have a chance to hit back. So for the 5-10 min wake-up, I would suggest doubling the regen speed. 4. For 2 hour wars, either keep the old procedure of wake up after 15 min, or perhaps experiment with a 10-15 min window. The 5-10 min window did not work for the 2 hour wars, imo.
Its getting better thank u the only thing I can see to help get more clans involved is counting bfe our clan has made all the right adjustment to be a ee clan but cant get matched so warred in a dif clan today and was way out numbered in bfe even tho the stratagy wasnt all that great I still dont see much chance of warring last seasons ee clans with the mith eq compared to clans that are really trying to match with eb eq our clan chaged temp to gh just to get a foot in the door and will give up if anything is taken from gh cause we put a lot of time and real money into competing in ee all in all I thimk bfe should be taken into count if not with bfa than instead of bfa,,, FISH
