Don't know how to make the conquering slaughterers understand it, but many of the losing teams weren't FFing to screw you over. We prepared just as much. But we prepped for a war against a slightly more touchable clan. After 10 min. We were Ko'd for the game. Two hours of watching pots disappear made it apparent that their 8 members that had 2x stats of our top spot really did make it more of a torture event instead of a war. We DID sign up for a war. Not a genocide. From the losing side (5:1 plunder after 2 hrs), I don't think any of us would actively enlist in a war like that. And from a winning side, I would feel ashamed to call anyone out for FFing that bad of a loss. Any way (if the match ups are that hard to peg down) that a mercy rule can be applied? Once plunder reaches 3:1, 4:1...whatever, that mercy rule is applied? Restoring winning sides pots/mith so they don't feel cheated. And allowing the losing side out without further damage? Or even 50% insurance? For such a terrible match?

Thank you Kaw_Admin for health xtals and mithrils. One thing I want to say to all the matchmaking complains: 1.It is clan rank. Your clan might have a lower top but middle and bottom stats are higher than the other clan. 2. It is also your stragety. The first estoc war my clan participated ended up with opposing clan stats an average of 700k higher. They are a leaderboard clan...we're in the 500s. We won. The 2nd war was matched up with a clan with higher middle stats than us. Their top wasnt that big though, 3m smaller than our top. but middle stats are very strong. We still won.

I wasn't able to get on this acct (it's an alt) during our war and got attacked and everything else, we won and my main has blade. But this acct doesn't. A little unfair that even though unactive I still could get hit and not get anything out of it...
Great to see KaW addressing the issues. Having participating in several of the Beta tests now at various clans I'm happy with most of the changes that have been made along the way. This is what the Beta tests are for and I have to state that I'm glad to see issues being addressed in the tests prior to a full roll out! I'd hate to think how many would moan then. Thanks Devs for bringing war back into a war game and in a manner that most can compete in. The 4 hr wars are a brilliant idea as it allows you to fit RL around it! Even if that means getting up at ridiculous times in the middle of the night. I only have two criticisms (or points to build upon): The introduction of an opt out spell was pure genius, however it is flawed. The promotion of clan unity is something you guys wanted to address, the issue raises when you have loyal members who inform you of RL commitments such as holidays and studies. The decision then comes do you kick your own loyal and trusted members? The better option would be to have an opt in policy as with old style System wars. But sign up well in advance, preparation for wars is key anyway. My second point of note is: Matchups need serious analysis, I know you have stated more clans need to sign up to ensure better match ups which I agree with. However, I am fully aware of several clans who signed up that would of been better matched. This is one area of serious concern should you still wish to encourage war participation. And 'No' I would never forfeit despite the smack down I receive, it's truly dishonourable. The victor should receive their well deserved reward. It's the matchups that need sorting out not the tactics. As for the loss of pots and Mith etc, this doesn't concern me, every war in the world costs a fortune and compensation isn't received for them. Expect wars to cost you. But the incentives you have introduced for the victors is great. Keep up the good work KaW and I hope these issues raised can be addressed.
The clan we warred also felt outmatched. I think the problem was we went in with 35 members and they had 80 something. You do the math and the matchup was fair. But in reality it was not. I don't know how they will fix it but they will.
Thank you admin for additional payout, although, I'm like a few others, I enjoy the wars and payouts are just an added bonus. A few issues: -the clocks counting down to war were ten minutes apart. I was all primed and ready, but apparently war didn't actually start until ten minutes after listed start time. -the war roster constantly changing due to plunder amounts makes it very hard to coordinate attacks. -I noticed a lot of KOs were not recorded. I would be in the middle of attacking an opposing member and all of a sudden they'd be knocked out, but no record of it in cc. I dunno if they self KO or not. -the lag is much improved, for me at least, this time around. Payout is better. I know the crash will be addressed so I'd rather not beat a dead horse. All in all, it's been great fun. I feel match ups are fair. Both wars I've been in, my clan has actually been the weaker of the two, but inactives kill you during pairing. Keep up the good work. I will war again this weekend.

I was extremely happy with every matchup we got. Sucks that so many got bad matches. And thanks for the 2 xtals plus the extra mith. Over all the beta wars proved to be great and much fun compared to turtle wars.
Thanx for the bonus payout for crash... But I would like to know wat is wrong with this payout it makes no sense see some1 in our clan got 45 mith payout who had way less action way less ko and way less plunder then me and I only got 26!!! This makes no sense...
As a long time Kaw player I would like to express my like for the new war system brought forward by the devs. few kinks to work out just like any new system implemented. Hopefully this gets people away from Ebs (FarmVille style play) and back to real wars like the game was intended. well done. Only thing I would like to see changed is the system for matching up clans to battle. There are a few one sided wars that shouldn't have went down.
Why are you guys constantly ******** about matchups… in these kind of wars its 95% strategy and 5% strength. when you sign up, be prepared stop crying, get better war leaders.
I think everything bette by the week. Kaw your doing a great job fixing problems as u hear about them. My main problem was server issue, got kicked off for 30 minutes. Keep up the great work.
For the beta badge how bout granting it to people that have been in a certain number of them...say six that weeds out most that join the wars just to earn a badge.
