  1. I have 2 issues with the current beta war system.

    Firstly, I do not understand how the current estoc system rewards loyalty to clan. Often, most clans will have a fair number of people who cannot war during the appointed times so they will have to leave for war or else warring people will need to join with an allied clan to war. Losing 1 level of estoc's edge when you leave a clan for any reason nullifies a large reason for warring, ie, gaining estoc's edge in the first place.

    My second issue is with the KO recovery system. With the fixed 15 minute interval it makes it easy for the opposing team to time it so that a large number of people can start hitting you when your recovery times gets near and then you go almost immediately into KO once again. It is no fun to get up off the mat then once again get put down before you can even perform a single action.

    I see two solutions to the first issue. First, obviously, eliminating losing a level of the edge for leaving clan would solve that. The alternative, however, is to eliminate auto-join. Have it like the old wars where you join a war on your first action. But then you ask that means we could have a war where nobody joins until last couple minutes.

    Well there are any number of creative solutions to this problem of which I will present two. First, have it so that both clans must have a minimum number of active participants to gain full plunder. As penalty for having less than min number you get a percentage less in plunder for your actions until you reach minimum number. So if min is set at 30 people active, if you only have 15 people active then your actions will only give 50% of your normal plunder. Second solution is more draconian but easy: after 5 min from start of war auto join people in clan until min number of people is reached.

    With regards to KO recovery I think it would be a better system where there is a mandatory 15 minute recovery but that you that you can stay in recovery until you make one attempted action or you have full regen. At either of those points a news notice would appear in opposing clan's news and you are once again open.
     
  2. Fully agree with you pummellor. Would love the full regen as stated earlier in thread. It would be a great way to run the wars.
    Total non stop action.
    As for estoc and loyalty. It blows. It forces clans especially small ones to send members out to war. Breaks up clans and then when those clans run haunts its a waste if you are a spy build. Their is next to no financial gain for a spy so no point having Estocs.

    As for drops. Big deal no real difference and the old treasure drops always ran at 10 bil avg for me but now I'm getting between 1-5 bil in bronze so my rewards are lower than before so not worth it.
    Ill leave for wars but there is no point in staying out of home clan for the sake of a worthless bonus sytem.
    Not impressed on Estocs hurting clans.
     
  3. I think the best to resolve about KO problems

    • Its good to 15 min regen after self ko or Ko'ed

    • report in clan that someone self ko or koed opponent and how much plunder lose or looting
    Ex. Clan 1 vs Clan 2
    Player A self Ko: then report only in Clan 1 that " Player A self ko and lose plunder $$$$? In Clan 2 report Only "An Opponent self Ko lose $$$ their plunder"

    Player A Ko'ed by opponent: then report in clan1 " Player A was Ko'ed by opponent looted $$$ plunder" and at clan 2 report "player B has ko'ed an opponent looting $$$ plunders"

    By those ex. to resolve problem that someone counting on time and sit on someone that on 15 min koed time

  4. I agree snowman and have asked before that self ko only show up in your own clan cc. This gives you a chance to save plunder when your getting beat down by 8 or more peeps. Plus keeps them guessing and they can't put you on a timer and give you a chance to regen and rejoin the fight.
    Now when you ko opposing members I like the fact it shows up in both. Shows both clans who the real warriors are lol.
    The 4 hr time limit is perfect. The 2 xtal limit is perfect. Just the matching system needs some work. And the rewards system double mith payout is good but if you do all the wars btb like we did the pot cost is a killer. I suggest either reduce war tax or double mith plus plunder as a reward for winners to rebuy pots for next war
     
  5. Omg you like not being able to do anything for 15 minutes at a time during a 4 hour war. Wow guess the real warriors are the ones that want to fight flat out.
    Get a ko. Big deal everyone on the team contributes to get a ko. Whoever gets last hit doesn't matter to the Clan. Got loads last time. Because of teamwork.
    30 seconds before a full regen is plenty long enough to bank gold. And to be honest more gold the better. I left home clan to war and return having dropped 3 places in clan, yay go Estocs reward. So worth it, guess what I dropped it. ( sarcasm free of charge )
    Full regens guess what people would earn way more in war,
    Problems with the idea lets try this. This is beta testing the new war system right?
    We want to see if alternative ideas work so I've seen 3 proposals so far.
    1- as above full regens on ko half regen on self ko,,
    2 - regen on 5 minutes with the possibility of slightly higher troops.
    3 - leave as 15 minutes with no cc announcements for ko's let players report it.

    That's 3 weekends of testing. Why not give them all a try won't hurt anyone and will settle what works best for everyone.
    Any more suggestions this is the forum for them so post them.
    Remember the objection to short war forum. Four hour wars. Seem to work so why not try some new options and see what everyone likes that will make these wars a total success.

    Matchmaking needs to be messed with cause
    its flawed and i think their should be a higher
    payout at the end of beta war lots of funds lost
    in war something needs to be given to
    replenish these loses, bronze bars, inferno,
    aqua, the last atk

    Things i like and why u should too...
    The fact that the beta war last 4 hours is
    perfect for war junkies like me who have
    played this game since its creation sometimes
    live busy lives and cant find 24hrs to stare at a
    phone... Perfect
    The fact that everyone is auto joined at
    beginning is perfect. Some dont like this but to
    them i say... ITS A 4 HOUR WAR u know its
    coming u sit there for an hour not being able to
    hit anything before war starts... This auto join
    forces everyone who wants to fight to be ready
    to go and in CC by the time the war starts
    PLEASE DONT REMOVE THIS or it will be
    back to these stupid turtle wars
    The fact that their is a 15min regen timer is
    perfect as well because it is no different then
    getting a DTW and waiting 5-10mins i will say
    this.. The opposing clan should not recieve the
    name of an enemy who self KOs make them
    work to figure out... It isnt hard if your keeping
    track of opposing clan. Should go "Enemy
    player as self KO to avoid his demise"

  9. I'd like to suggest, of it hasn't been suggested before (or even if it has), that level 1 of Estoc Edge stays with you for the full time if you've earned it. Say you have level 2, and you lose the next war, it goes down to lvl 1. I'm fine with that. But then you gotta jump over to your sub clan to help them and boom, now you have no estoc edge. I don't like that, especially given the amount of time I spend at our sub clans.

    I'm fine with losing levels, but to lose it altogether is pretty lame. That basically means I'm never going to have the edge for longer than a day or 2, unless I stop helping at our sub clans, which I don't plan on doing.

    Oblivion 15 minutes is same as 5- 10?? How do you figure that. And geez why do so many want a coffee break every 14 minutes or fight turtled. Face palm  it's a war fight it
     
  12. This morning when i attacked in the eb my EE was showing lvl3 but now it only shows lvl2 even though when i tap on homescreen when it shows soldiers it's lvl3. Why is this happening? Is our EE being downgraded?
     
  13. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but here it goes. I've participated in all 3 wars this past weekend and my clan won all of them. I had estoc edge lvl 3 up until 20 mins ago. I have not left the clan. It doesn't make sense why I would lose a lvl for staying inside the clan. Might be a bug that needs fixing but fix it soon!! And I've read about the treasure drop disappearing and devs giving is bars in replace. But the amount of bars do not add up to what the treasure drop was. If your gonna give bars to the ppl that would have won the treasure I suggest you make it even to what the treasure was. Another thing is inferno drops ever since I have got the edge I haven't won one inferno. It's like my drop rate decreased. This comes from running ebs that drop them this week as well as last when I participated in the first week of the beta.
     
  14. I also had to notice that my EE spell dropped from lvl 3 to lvl 1 without any known reason. I didnt leave the clan, but still it levelled down. Pls fix this glitch soon 

  18. Lost 1 level of edge. If u want people to war pay players back for pot use. Make payout worth it or anytime u hit with pots make that much gold.
