After doing several Beta's in various clans. There is one thing that bothered me most, the LAG. One possible solution to this would be a five second buffer to let you come out 5 seconds before you can receive Inc. By the time it takes to go through the pages to make an action, you could at least get a action or two off before being KO'd again. Too many times I have hit "Complete Action" a split second before coming out of KO, and 4 pages later it says I'm knocked out. You are already penalized for being zeroed, at least give fighting chance to earn plunder when your timer is up. Just my 2 cents. Thank you devs for a enjoyable system change.
We have level 2 Estoc thingy Just did FoD in 2 hours Worst drop in the history of rip off drops. Not one perm item bit of inferno. Far as I'm concerned you owe our clan 4 xstals each hammers Gold Swords Feathers inferno and aqua. What are you guys smokin?
I noticed several problems loading different pages during the 3rd war. I received a server error message frequently when trying to load clan memberlist or member profiles. The application simply crashed in a few instances. Occasionally an troop or spy action would get a server error message. Perhaps the server being used to run beta wars was simply overtaxed by the number of members warring. In any case, the error issues and lag on incoming actions needs to be addressed to improve the user experience. A third issue appears with clan matchup, it does not appear to do a good job consistently. In the 5 beta wars I participated in 4/5 were decent matchups, 1 was so far off it was laughable. I don't know how the program makes the match, but at a minimum it needs to take into account base stats and bonus from allies. The app already calculates these values for every player so it should be able to be used in calculation of a matchup. A second calc should look at relative player sizes. When a clan with few players with large base stats and huge bonus from allies (BFA) is matched against a clan with more members with smaller base stats and BFA it may be fair from an overall standpoint, but the smaller individuals will loose so many actions that they are left with little chance to win. Most clans that would SW in the old system would take these factors into account when setting up friendly wars.
It was over all a fun way to war and I enjoy it but I have edge lvl 1 and haven't even got a bronze bar or pot drop, nothing in the last 6 EBs and my plunder has not changed a bit. Is there an edge glitch you are working on
My problem was specific to my kingdom. I was unable to hit enemy clan even though I was in warring clan 10h prior to start of war. I got the message on my news that war hard been declared. I was on the member list as inactive during the war, but my name was not present on the war roster. Then after war ended, my name was listed on the war list ( in last I mind you 0 actions 0 plunder 0 mith) I was able to outside of clan war list during this time also. I have SS to prove all of these things I'd KaW admin need to see. Please help me. Or provide mw with a legitimate reason for being locked out.
Great idea to get kingdoms back to waring, however your servers obviously can't handle the amount of actions being performed. Taking a level away that your clan worked hard to get is just plain wrong. It, (1.) makes you not want to leave an allied clan you went to help get their estoc or (2.) leave your clan to help your sub-clan get theirs? This isn't promoting clan unity at all. Clans are ultimately responsible for creating
unity not the devs. Unless you guys wanna take time outta your day to train noobs or participate in cc to make "Chat Rooms @ War" more entertaining? Estoc should not be taken away and should be associated with each player. Players that got lv2 sat lost it immediately when they went back to their clan then warred sun lost and estoc is over with. What's next, going to start taking equip.
1. You have been knocked out penalty must be same as self knock out penalty. At this beta trial, I think that penalty of being knocked out is too big. I thought self KO and been knocked out just a matter of lucky, so why penalize been knocked out that high 2. News about KO should not spam cc, it is enough to put it on news of player been killed and player who kill, let the player to report it to the cc 3. 15 minutes immunity is not enough, give it 15 minutes more immunity where a player can choose to attack but lose their immunity, or stay till 50 percent troops. But for self KO will not get this
Devs, you should add the seqence numbers before the plays in the war roster for iPad version- the same as PC to facilitate war for iPad users. Thank you.
Suggestion, Add member's clan number next to his name in CC updates when someone KO. It cost time to find the player. It seems # reporting in CC was the best practice anyway.
A repeat action button Is needed for war. There is one for ebs why not for war? Who ever attacks once in a war? Really? Takes me less time on an iPhone to attack then on a pc because of all the extra buttons needed to repeat an attack. And an automatic equip swap button would be awesome. No time to swap attack equip out for spy attack equipment in war. So either your stuck with quicksilver plate and abysmal to spy or cape and diamond to attack. Having the cape equipped to attack is like having no equip in that slot at all.
Repeat button. Never everyone is in same situation. Add a repeat button all you get is players offloading and self ko'ing in seconds and no time for clans to co-ordinate attacks on incoming fire. Report and fight. Don't button bash this game.
Bars and pots should not take away from item drops. The claim is w the edge we get better drops. When fod drops no swords tgl no bow and tbo no greaves that does not seem to be an advantage Getting the bars is nice but the point of wasting ur time on item epics is to ....... Get the items for that epic not bars
I am or sure if this a glitch or not. I had a guy at zero troops. Attack and spy at zero. When I attacked- it said too weak. When I scouted. It said he had zero spies. I scouted over 15x. And he never went KO. The other odd thing. Later on in the war. When he eventually KOd himself. He lost zero gold. He hit me several Times. He had plunder. Devs pm I u need further info
Without reading everyone else's posts they only thing I like is not being able to hit outside or quests. Being number 1 in a clan vs a clan where their top 4 where strong LB, there wasn't much I could do but keep knocking myself out if the Amount of lag would let me. But being knocked out means I couldn't fight from pin to even help out my fellow clan mates on smaller targets. I think you should be able to have the ability to fight from pin, but stopping outside hits and quests will make it harder to self pin
Lag was bad in all wars but Saturday 11/10 was the worst so far. For the Web UI Consider adding the war stat ui element where the EB timer element normally lives. Target selecting is a multi step process and is very difficult. This coupled with lag gives the web user a serious impediment over mobile users. Would love to see a collapsable clan list. This could be added to the element where the friends/news elements are. This would make targeting much easier. (with clan rank numbers of course.) This is a general UI suggestion but would make war target selecting much easier for the web user. Normally, when viewing a clan list, selecting a user brings you to their profile page. This profile page does not have the "back" button in the top left of the profile UI element. Now, if you select an ally of that person you are brought to the profile page of that ally. This profile page has the "back" button on it which makes it easy to backward navigate. I've always thought that this back button should be present on all profile pages (when navigated to from a list). This would allow viewing clan members and then navigating back to their clan page in one step. Currently, you must click on the clan name which brings you to the clan page where you then have to select "members" to be presented with the list. It's a couple of extra clicks that cost valuable time, especially in a war. As it stands, from the home page, to attack during a war the web user has to select his clan(1), then select war(2), then select name of warring clan(3), then select members(4). So everytime you back out of the clan list for anything else you have to repeat these 4 navigational clicks. Any UI addition for the web for opposing clan member selection would make things much easier.
When I look into my profile, i do not see the estoc edged listed there under Active Spells. I do see it in others. I have EE level 3, and it shows up when I attack/assassinate in EB. I also have the plunder bonus.
