4 hr time limit was perfect I still had time to spend with the family and not hear complaining all day lol 2 xtal limit was good this isn't an eb you xtal to a quick win. Planning, timing, coordination and teamwork is what wins. So 2 is just fine. The double mith payout was great keep that. But also maybe include inferno and aqua like in summer wars. The rest I've already said earlier. Thanks for making wars fun again.
It's been mentioned plenty, but I'll add another account to make sure the issues get addressed very thoroughly. War# 2 was very glitchy for me personally. Every time I hit the attack button, KAW restarted on me. Loading screen and a new resumed connection. This went on for 2 hours of the war before I was even able to get a successful attack action. Same thing happened in war #1 sporadically where it would restart or just not respond. I understand it's a beta and glitches are to be expected. Just want to make sure these glitches were logged and continually mentioned so that they can be fixed for the future.
Hi there. As a participant in beta war #1 on Friday i must say that new war mechanics made war exciting and fun. Makes sense now with estoc edje for clans to start warring consistently. Having heard other people's feedback about dissatisfaction of the cut in treasure drops in fod i think that the amount of bronze bars given with either of pots in all tier 5\6\7 eb's levels it up if not makes it better. Only thing that was unfair is that having participated in 1st beta war i received old mithril payout when people who warred 2 days after in 2nd beta got double the amount. Overally exciting new updates,keep up the great work
Beta Test Feedback: 1- the four hours duration is perfect 2- the 15 minute KO is a nice Timeout 3- posting KO's on both CC is a Plus 4- the rewards should be more to include elements n xstals; make it more worthwhile to system war 5- should penalize more to self pin; 50% loss first time then 100% loss with subsequent self pin... Kill off the Turtle 6- Estoic Edge should be Advanced with wins and Stay the same if loses... Again to encourage clans to fight freely and less defensive n protective of their edge gained 7- the estoic edge should include increase chances of pots drop n bronze bar drop too... Too late for the equipment drop incentive-- most of those who wanted the equipments have them already Kudos for attempting to Improve the War System...
Agree with most of the positive comments I've read, it was a good war. I think that it would be good if clans could decide war length within certain limitations. Minimum 2 hours, maximum maybe 12. Crystal usage could be linked to war length. That's the only thing I think could improve it that I haven't seen mentioned (must admit to not reading all 59 pages of the thread though!).
During war got knocked offline the minute I began to receive incoming cc wouldn't update. Restarted phone to fix. Will use laptop during next war in case it was a hardware problem. Knockout msgs just promote lazyness
The war itself was great ( maybe up to 4 xtalls?), but Estocs Edge itself is terrible, barely noticeable plunder-wise and the drops have actually gone down significantly. can you fix this as its very annoying and its not exactly incentive to use the new war system.
Estocs edge should also give the person a 15% better chance of succeeding when trying to enchant equipment.
I suggest you add who wins Bronze and the new Potions in the [update] message at the end of the EB. We have been tracking the effect on drops after winning Estoc's Edge in the 2nd Trial. People have been complaining about the lower number of items dropped in Item EBs. I have been trying to convince people that perhaps we aren't getting items, but are getting hammers and amulets and bronze and such. So, I'm sure you are getting plenty of feedback on the Estoc Edge drop rate. We do notice a huge DROP in items awarded. I recommend that you add to the [update] message, so people can see how much an Item EB actually pays out.
Reporting ko in other team cc makes it too easy to continue 'pin' as soon as time is done! This makes the war boring bc you spend 99% of it pinned once you are tracked
4hours is a good length! Easy to commit to! Longer war would be impossible to commit to more than once or twice a year, if that
To all you people complaining that it's too easy to be tracked if you KO yourself... GOOD!! We are trying to steer AWAY from self-pin! That is a great update that does just that. In fact I think there should be an even higher penalty as well. War is all about tracking anyways. If you pin someone you have to know exactly when they are coming out, so don't complain about it being too much tracking
The was great and had a great time taking place and being apart of it. The only thing that I found to be VERY annoying was that after the war I was dropped from my clan to make room and my EE spell was taken away.. I think it should should stay regardless of you leave or get kicked from the clan after your victory.
Agreed on the time limit. If this is to become the new system war, adding time subdivisions like 2HR, 4HR, 8HR would be recommended or even a variable choice allowing players to specify a custom war time. It would be helpful to have a war-clock ticking down in the corner of the PC interface. It would be helpful to have a knock-out clock ticking down on the player who got knocked out as well... (I mean on said players own interface) that way I know I've got 9 minutes left till I'm reactivated. Bringing gold payouts back to the war systems are important, we spend a ton of gold to war, but get nothing in return. The new EBs pay terribly, wars don't pay gold anymore. Do we have to do hauntings for eternity to make gold. Fixing the navigation on the PC interface is key for warring. What I mean is when I select the opponents team and then click on opponent number 1, when I click the back button it does nothing, and I have to re-navigate all the way back to the opponents team again. It would also be helpful if when we did click back it stayed where we were positioned in that list... i.e. If I went to player 17, and then hit back, it should go back to player 17 position in the list, not player 1. Finally, - more choices of colored text outside of the 4 options that there are. We like to use text to differentiate between war commanders and teams, but 4 is not enough of a selection of colors to be a formidable tool. I suggest 8-10 color options and preferably bright options too. Dark Blue for example is very difficult to read. The ability to change the actual "typed text color" aside from just the name might be an excellent addition also, and hey, can we pay gold for these things instead of mithril? For people to choose to enter war, there should be a Join option. Once joined can unjoin until a certain period time. All those joined are participants in the war and are active at war start. This allows members of a clan to opt-out of a scheduled war.
Along with my suggestion above, keep the estoc edge level on the individual players in the war. So those that join a war either gain a level or lose a level of estoc edge depending on the outcome.
