Was an awesome experience, bringing the fun back into war and making all the turtle wars pointless... Everyone I've heard from had a blast. Only thing for me is the reward sucks, my only request is that you keep estoics edge if you leave clan.... Majority can't be staying for two weeks if you're guests.
There should have a better reward percentage, the winners should be allowed to keep the drop even if clan hopping. Apart from the sucky reward all's good. Had fun after along time
Two oddities- If you have only a few soldiers you cant pin yourself. The message is 'too few soldiers to attack. Also, some mostly spy builds seemed to show DTW regardless of attack type used.
Great fun but a few problems. 1. Need a ko personal timer. If they get your regen times you spend 4 hrs in pin. 2. Massive outlay no reward! 3.should have 1 truce crystal which can be used at any time in war that gives you an extra 15mins invunrability to break up the ko cycle and allow you to rejoin war at a high level. 4!!!!!! Most important 70% of peeps will war as guests. No point if you lose Edge when you return to your home clan. Thnx Devs. A great idea if a few things sorted. Realy does bring your Clan together
I don't know about a ko timer or additional xtals. Can't make wars too simple and tracking ur own or opponent's regen was always a part of this game. Good strategy and team work as well as proper activity can solve those issues
Thought of something more/read it and wanted to repost it! Seriously consider making regen 15mins minimum and 25 or30 max! (Or for final release make it an option) So you can stay Ko’d longer for more regen if you choose to. Likewise you won’t get pinned every 15mins if the other team has you timed, this allows you to make the choice of coming out of KO! :mrgreen: Great idea whomever posted it first! (make Generals job that much harder but it'd keep things intresting)

Can't wait for the improvements to be rolled out. And the system to go live. I haven't been excited about system wars in a long long time.
Loved the new war system and I also loved the 4hr wars. Maybe we should be able to do short 4hr wars as not everyone can do 12 or 24hr wars due to having busy real life. It'll be good if you can click on a button that lets you enter an arena where your clan will be matched against a clan of similar size/rank. I'll take an hour to load (so to ensure everyone enters war full) and last 4 or 6hrs. If devs can make payout as good as an average EB then we'll be able to put the final nail in the EB coffin.
Agree with Posts on ko regen times 15-30 mins with optional release would b alot better, plus maybe a crystal per hour limit instead of just 2. But enjoyed beta test none the less thanks devs
First off let me congratulate you devs on the new war system. It was fast paced non stop fun and I loved it. Now to get to the point of things. 1) the ko showing in cc in both clans like it shows you who's slacking on your team and who's hurting you the most. 2) the self ko showing up in enemy cc don't like it. If your getting hammered and self ko to save your clan plunder your already penalized for it. Don't let the other clan know and put you on a timer that's double jeopardy. Let them figure it out on their own. )3 self ko showing in your cc good at least it shows you who's active and trying to win 4) the idea of putting the number of kos in war history very bad idea. It makes you a target for next war. Let the opposing clan find that our on their own don't spoon feed them our active players. Then I ceases to be fun again. 5) Estocs Edge should be an individual award with a set timer. Inset was of a clan award so you can roam kaw proudly n visit friends or back to your clan to boast n get more peeps interested in wars again. Aside from osw clans most clans are a mix of peeps who like wars and those who just like ebs and leave and come back after war. So an individual award allows you to travel. Again thank you for this and look forward to it going live. It's brought life back to my clan. CC hasn't been this active in months with peeps blindly hitting the repeat button every hr and not talking anymore. So great job for the most part in my book
This new war system is fantastic! 1. the 4 hr format is very manageable. This was number 1 feedback we got, 4 hrs of that kind of intensity was PERFECT war length. 2. the awards to members accounts and not to clan itself is great. 3. I think some care and thought needs to be put into clans attempting to skew their ranks down before/after daily clan update, then adding accounts pre-war. (This seemed to have been handled MUCH better for second war) 4. I'm being told that accounts that are kicked from a clan retain their Estoc Bonus, while accounts that leave do not. This is an exploitable loophole where clans can simply "boot" Merc's that show up just for war and they keep their bonus, I think that feature needs to be removed to keep it fair. 5. It's really hard to test and look for balance issues while in a war like these new ones are. But it "felt" like spy accounts had a decidedly large advantage because they still retained pin to Att at 0 troops while an Att build was even more vulnerable at 0 spies to ass. I think that needs to be looked at closer. it seems unbalanced with the new ability to KO and steal plunder that one build can still "fight from half pin" to their strengths, while others can't. 6. as for increased payout...well this bronze estoc bonus is super cool, and the other levels promise even more. However, I also don't see why KAW admin couldn't remove war tax entirely now and or pay out plunder rewards in cash to both sides based on contribution. Scrap myth payout entirely. it seems completely unexploitable now. Also, it's optical, if your making 80 mil/hit, that's 2 X what u make haunting...makes wars look profitable. 7. Clans need the OPTION to pick from war times that suit their membership best. on a go forward, continuous basis, I feel it's a must that different times are optional and that the clan can talk and decide what times work best.
The rewards vs effort and $ spent needs adjustment. I'd suggest a reward system as good as summer war series. BTW the bronze edge is a marginal increase so between mith and edge the 1st win is not worth the return. Otherwise a good start and a way to put war back into the game.
Four hour war is supposed to be a full on buzz yet ko is used for super turtle wars. Plus if sat on by multiple what can you do for four hours. Ko needs to count and the plunder hits work well on that. But not being able to fight kills war for some. Solution Every time you are ko you come back straight away full troops. Enemy still has plunder and reduced yours. Same tactics still apply to all players and mass hits to ko will still win wars. BUT everyone gets to play full adrenaline. If you self ko you should only come back half troops. Numbers and tactics will still in the wars exactly the same as previous. But who wants to stare at a screen for 4 or more hours seeing dtw much less you are knocked out. Sort the ko and lack of plunder vs cost to war out and you have a perfect buzz war system. It's only for a short war not the other war systems. So a change of pace for a short war is exactly what's needed. If clans get sat on and plunder does not outweigh cost to war the novelty and short lived effectiveness of these wars will die out fast.
Also means no cost to war and no one can accuse devs of trying to profit from this system of that's brought in. Even for every player.
