  2. I enjoyed testing this system out. 1 down side tho is that you can snuff out a leak and/or spy on your team working for the other side like you can during a pin war. Just means you really have to war only with those that you really know and trust. Afterall there will always be spies and alts playing dirty whether they are acknowledged or not.

    Love the new system, although we did not get matched up fairly, I'm sure that will be better in future.

    The big improvement I see that needs to be made is self-KO should be MUCH higher penalty. It is just a way of self pinning, and that is what we are striving to change right? 
     
  4. War was great fun, but the clan we where vs ff and we had to wait the rest of war to be able to start EB or leave clan make a bonus if other side forfeits please

  6. @manbearpig, why is that a bad thing? There shouldn't be spies or planted leaks. The point is to war fairly...
     
  7. Thanks for this updated war system as it was a great improvement over turtle wars!
    To add to the system, a record of KO's completed and received in the history would be a nice feature, it being tracked in real time on roster and updated with total plunder would be even better!
    Since it was possible to "steal" KO's, for the players doing the work in these cases they should also benefit more! It would be great if the regen times were decreased a small percentage with each successful action, an example being... If each opposing player were worth 1% decrease from full to KO, the amount of damage you performed to that player would decrease your regen time that much. Kill 50% troops and 50% spies would give you 0.5% increase in regen times. With this the opposite is also true, as successful actions against you would increase your regen times. This would very the 15 min KO time slightly but would very more as the battle continues.
    This along with decreased war tax and increased Mith payout would be a even better system war. Really enjoyed the 4 hours hope this war length stays in the future!
    After the battle is fought and won and the level of Estoc Edge is in effect, it should have decrease regen times being progressively lessened as the level of edge increases, this making the lore of Estoc Edge even greater.

  9. When you knock a player out and it shows up in opposite CC you are an automatic target. I think if you knock them out with spies you name shouldn't come up in the CC because they didn't catch you.
     
  10. It is not fair to those who have worked hard in war to lose their edge because they cant be active in the next war. We get two different timezones, thats great, but due to auto join leakers must leave clan and lose edge. This does not promote clan loyalty. Only the hardcore like me get to lose sleep and retain edge. But my wife will probably leave me if i do every war since all my attention must be focused. Please make it better, devs, make it truly fair for all timezones. And give us hardcore warriors a chance for a war break besides being forced to bail on a bonus that i worked hard to get
    Other than that no concerns and thank u for giving us a deep engagement that we can utilize our builds we worked hard to perfect.
     
  11. I, myself, haven't participated in the beta. I do, however, have a question relevant to it. Will this be the new war, replacing the old system? Or when declaring war, will you have a choice whether or not to challenge the opposing clan to a war using the old system or the new system?
     
  12. I assume that the amount I make knocking a guy out is a % or all of his current tax earned?

    So over time we could trade this back and forth.

    Say A knocks out B who is knocked out by c then all of AB and C's plunder is back in the AC team?

    Truly awesome then. It will lead to OSF wars though if that's true.

    I don't like forfeits permitted though. I was in Monster Garage having a good noob bash session and it was cut way short.
     
  13. Myself would love to see an option there is a certain allure to turtle wars.. To be able to hide in the trench and dodge the bullets.. Sure its boring in summer wars but those 48 hr wars in small cs clans can have their excitement moments as well. Plus its nice and laid back.. I can turtle war from work! Not the estoc one tho.. Unless i hit hit hit ko myself every 15 min.. Well i guess i could lol
     
  14. The war was really fun.
    - 4 hrs was perfect
    - reward very bad
    - the knock-out was more interesting than the DTW. Thought the suggestion that it's could be minimum 15 to a maximum of 30 min with your choice to go out of it any time in between appeal to me (ref. -FITZ-)
    - KO notification was cool, self KO should be announce in both clan (if not it look like a bug)
    - Timer would facilitate follow up on KO
    - Reporting KO stat at the end would be fun.
    - KO bonus should stay as is. No special bonus for player who KO or are not KO. If so, it will encourage people to play by their own and not in team.
    - Spy seems very strong to bring someone to KO (assassinate/scout bombing). If it stay like that, Will need to get more spy building in my build. Troops can't do anything against spy.
    - clan should not be penalize if people leave when Estoc reward is on, only the person should be.

    First war was a Blast. Thank You.

    We won't go for second war, reward was too bad. The only interesting reward is the Estoc reward. At worst we loose it and at best we gain nothing more...
     
  15. So far this is my opinion and bugs I had issue with:

    Like to start off by saying that was probably the most fun I’ve had in this game yet!! Besides doing items in FoD with less then 10 mins to go! :lol:

    Super fast pace and lots of fun. That sure seemed like longest 15mins ever though…. Maybe lower regen time during the war… Below will be what I have thought of so far. Otherwise great update!!

    Bugs:

    1) I was on PC and the icon location/war clock (spot above your friends list where the EB and war clock sit) was missing. I didn’t dare to reload for loss of the CC history.

    2) The War roster was also MIA used the member list (even though that is what I’d of used anyway because war roaster list doesn’t have #’s on it!! WTF) It would have been use full for sweeping purpose for the war roster to be working.

    3) Lag from when I get hit to when it’s reported, Many people got KO’d because they didn’t see hit come until too late!!

    4) When buying POTS if I pick something I have insufficient funds for I can’t use the space bar to close the “insufficient funds” window!! Just about every other popup in the game will close with spacebar but this one doesn’t and never has, but with this fast pace second count.

    These issues may have just been on my end for using a crap browser but still thought you should know

    Suggestions:

    1) War on mobile devices I am amazed at how some people war on these reporting to cc takes so much time as not easy copy paste like on PC!!! Why not add a button in your news feed that says “report” and it copies the name of the Incoming atk to your chat line?? This would be a fair update to allow quick reporting, you’d still have to add how many and what type of inc but the name will be correct in reports!!

    2) On off chance of being a broken record, The Estoc’s Edge needs to be fixed… It should have stayed a clan bonus! People who are unable to war leave a clan as part of a strategy. (case in point if you can’t make Sunday war time you lose your winning from Friday, STUPID) If it were clan bonus it be way better if I leave I lose the edge until I rejoin the clan and to keep your loyalty efforts around make it so the 3/4 of those who warred (max 40) and won the edge need to be present at all times! This allows people to visit friends or leave for a war they can’t fully participate in. This also prevents mercing up and allows the entire clan to be that much better. In the future clan members on outside might help by allie purchase from outside, clans are close families (at least the one’s I’m part of) and working as one unit is the only way to win these awesome chaotic wars! :)

    3) The actual “bonus” kind of sucks for the majority of users!! 15% plunder bonus!! That has a diminishing return so only a skimmer will see any real usefulness out of this in EB’s in the future wars it might help a bit but as it’s plunder and I don’t think the BFA is included it’s kind of useless. Extra drops are also of no use as Lots of players have all equipment! And what exactly does a Full Spy build get out of it… Nothing except increase drop chance?? And crap luck is crap luck, so they might not see a thing!!

    4) Either a timer on my screen when KO’d or as suggested before a time in the popup that says how much longer your KO’d for!

    5) A place that keeps track of # of times you’ve KO’d an opponent! Heck might as well make that a LB over resets now! :D

    6) Keep these at 4hrs long! :) Most can be active 100% during that amount of time, and with this much action longer would get overwhelming!

    7) Xtals are an absolute necessity to improve the fun of the war!! Figure a way to give every participant an xtal or a way to full regen once during the war for no charge! If you didn’t have a chance to xtal in the war you could potentially get KO’d right away every time. 1 free full regen during the war and only used on the war would be great!

    8) A way and section to flag your news feed so I can stop losing important info like which sob KO’d me because of less relevant news… like a favorites section that doesn’t auto delete! This would also help with allies selling, and for me to keep track of who I KO’d! :)

    9) A way to keep a longer CC!!! (only during the war though) It is now highly relevant to keep the last 15mins of cc visible at the least!! Or filter out non *Updates* when deleting the oldest msg… I want to look back and see KO times.

    10) Last thing I can think of right now is add some levels to the Beta Achievement! :p cause more than 1 lvl would be cool! :lol:

  17. Neon you have a lot of good points, the two I want to cover are the fact that itd be nice to hve a way to sace newsfeeds so that important ones wont be lost. Also tge fact that u do need xtals and I think the winning clan should be rewarded one or two for their victory!

  19. I had fun! The only down fall was the delay in report times. I was not doing Kant actions as I was regening from 3/4 to full when suddenly I KO'ed myself. Little glitchy but ninjas a blast
     
  20. The estoc edge was nice WHEN IT LASTED. Your war rules were written poorly in the intial thread. Leave that clan u warred in and lose ur edge? It is a stupid rule and was not clearly stated neither on forums or in game. I would have stayed in my visitin clan for 2 weeks but it wasnt stated. Plus, why should i not be able to leave? What if i want to go to an item eb to reak full benefits o fthe edge? What if i want to return to home clan? Many people in this recent beta lost their edge for no reason and i think those who did should be compensated. That is my major complaint with the whole thing. It lets the winners lose their reward for fightin very hard and is purely flawed
