If you weren't raging you would realize that not only mith compensation for not warring is senseless, but also can be exploited
Also im with Res i think u need to increase the ee lvl contribute, not to 500% lol but to 150& or 100% for plaunder and 50% still stay at drop rate and also the most imported part is that the "No Match " will be remove as fast as u can or at least change it fast cause if not u will see a lot more of that tomorrow ...
Caution on the "Incentive" front. We want people to "Want to EE" not to feel they "Have to EE" Keep that in mind when you come up with solutions. Its a diverse game, people will resist being all but forced to EE if "they have to to stay competitive". Mith based Equipment, and Edge are already pretty huge benefits.
I don't war for the estocs edge bonus. I just want mith. Who cares for a little plunder bonus? It's not enough to compensate using 20b worth of pots a war
I'm not disagreeing that the benefits are nice. But it's not enough to keep up clan participation. Even with double Mith payout this weekend, less than 80 clans signed up.
Ok i get ur point u right. But although ppl want to war, and have ee lvl etc ... But cause of the No Match system ppl cabt do that like u want them. They will never be an even match up. My point is for u to change this as fast as u can cause war 5 its a lot of clans wars so if tomorrow will be
The game is in need of another way to earn mith... I want to be able to war some other way and earn mith, not just on specific days.. Such as, I can wake up at 5am before I go to work and unload on a noob and receive 5 mith for doing it
random mith for hitting off Battle list FTW! Unfortunately, other methods of earning mith will reduce EE participation which only makes the issue worse. War #1 and War #5 are traditionally the lowest attended. I am worried what the matchup system holds in store for those 2 days.
EXACTLY. This estoc TRIALS. Trials = testing, it's not finalised yet so who's saying it has to stay? It causes too much hassle for the devs and everyone else involved. Why not make like a bounty system? You click a button, it randomly generates a players name from your battlelist and you have to do a certain number of attacks/steals/assassinations on that player to receive a reward of X amount of mith. After say an hour you can refresh your target for a new one,
Wulf, I hate to make a suggestion that would take money away from ATA , but what if the xtal requirement was removed from EE wars? Some players do not or cannot spend real money on the game. However all successful EE clans require the use of two xtals every war. I like the idea of being able to regen twice, but what if the devs gave us the ability to regen by casting a Mith spell twice during the war? Instead of having to use xtals. I think that in itself would increase clan participation. However, I realize this suggestion likely has no chance.
As I said wulf, this is just testing right? Sometimes tests arnt always right, and some things have to be scrapped and re-thought.
Honestly I believe this bounty system with a little more thought could be very successful... Imagine KaW back like the old days when you'd wake up with a newfeed full of inc. this could also involve revenge bounties where you get revenge on whoever targeted you for a reward..
Options suggested so far in this thread, my PM, and Pal rooms are: (let me know if I missed any) 1 - Tiny brackets. (which I dont see how that will work considering strength AND size are collected) 2 - Specific number required (though this would still likely trigger no-match due to strength) 3 - Remove no-match system and allow Clan owner to "cancel wars" after matchup but before start. 4 - more wars with smaller brackets so if you get a no-match there is another one right around the corner 5 - shorter wars (2 -3 hour) wars so more can be done in a day and people wont mind the no-match so much 6 - Small brackets for all wars 10-30 people. Fewer ranges = fewer gaps in the spread = fewer exclusions. 7 - Real issue seems to be not enough clans to create enough matches. Find a way to incentivize EE, eliminate loss of edge upon leaving clans so more clans war with mercs, or make the Risk/workload low enough that many many more clans participate without unbalancing KAW. 8 - Restore a Roster Cap. Smaller range = less gaps in the ranges. 9 - Give clans more reason to want to war. Prestige LB. Clan achievements for winning x-number of wars, extra clan roster slots (+1 for every 20 wars you win maybe?). etc. 10 - make EE less of a financial burden on players. Remove xtal/nob regen of troops. Maybe add a spell to regen up to 2 times in EE so clans dont feel the need to pay to play and maybe increase participation. 11 - Scrap the EE system entirely and come up with another PVP interaction system to generate mithril that is less complex and not dependent on matching with other clans. One focused on the individual rather than the clan. Will try and catch up on this thread in a bit. Got strips to do
Gj wulf, very nicely set out on options.Please add to the list the option to allow members to join in war during the 2-1hr till war block to help comp smaller clan. There must be a strength/member cap tho. Also add the "war xstal" idea where ppl can buy xstals only for war with in game gold. This paired with xstal comp could help clan comp with matchup without paying irl money. Finally, u mentioned some 3rd party app, very illegal if i may say so myself.
