Estoc Trials - Friday War 1 (blitz)

  1. A fair chance?? You have a fair chance when the war starts. So what. U all get pinned and u should get rewarded. U can xtal and get out of pin. But let me guess. U get pinned again nonstop. Ok. Lets make it where u are rewarded for being in pin. That makes for a really fair war???
     
  2. Gotta love all the eb fairies PLAYING at ET wars giving this new turd of a system two thumbs up. Course they would. It's the first ever EB war. Mindless. It takes no thought or strategy. You don't even have to have xtals in these wars. Might as well give'em a repeat action button. Since you've taken every tool the established ET war clans use from them. No spies, no towers, no xtals, no thought, no teamwork, no planning, no brain cells required. The idea of a one our war was the only thing about this experiment that was even remotely worthwhile. If the devs are all about lining their pockets with money from xtal sales they've even failed in that regard as well since you don't need xtals now. The big selling point in the new wars was the knockout system..... guess what....you can win these wars with out ever going after ppl for knockout.

    BUT there is a light at the end of the tunnel: Kaw_Admin: " * Please be advised that we are running experiments with the current set of wars. be running another set of different experiments next weekend."

    Now where did I park that T.A.R.D.I.S. so I can travel into the future to next week's experimental was and get this debacle behind me :D s
     
  3. I think the new system worked great. Sorry the trackers were obsolete everyone. This kind of war kept everyone active. Instead of waiting for a tracker target it forced people to find someone to hit to come out of KO. I understand its a big change but I think the change was for the best.
     
  4. Devs you guys need to make all wars 1 hour wars plesse so much more fun and interesting
     
  5. Well there are 14 wars on a Friday night. Usually one of the most popular wars. Looks like clans have spoken.
     
  6. DEVS: PLEASE explain this alleged window? If I was KO'd five minutes, but had not attempted any actions ( meaning I didn't WANT to opt back in until 10 min mark) why do I receive incoming at 5:30-6 minute mark? What is the point of the 5-10 minute window if I am forced in anyways. :x :x :x :x

    What a disorganized chaotic free-for-all. Won't be using my time or xtals on these one hour wars, count on that.
     
  7. Understand all the butt hurt. At this point with a choice when to come back in you can coordinate more attacks to change the outcome of a war. I still think this was a change for the positive regardless if all the hate in the thread
     
  8. I think KO time should be 10 to 15 mins even in 1 hour war. Lag is very bad. Got message while load target, can not connect to server and wifi was still active and 10 sec later let it load. But had alot of incoming while away. 2 Hour war was bad enough with lag and shorting KO makes it worse.

    Not sure if I like being able to pick your come out time. Very hard to find active targets that way.
     
  9. That's silly warrior. Find a target before becoming out of ko. Its not that hard to find opens
     
  10. Still wondering wat u all were doing durning the rancor season?? Wat do u mean this keeps everyone active ? If u didn't have everyone active all war durning rancor no wonder u were loosing wars.... That is if u even bothered to do more then a couple and quit

  12. When part of the strategy is intentionally losing actions, I think wars cease to be positive. Isn't the goal to win actions???? If an opponent is pinned the best you can hope for if u are really lucky is to split his 2 Attks. I don't see any pride in the strategy required to win. I can't be happy with myself if I didnt win my actions and hurt my opponent. It's turtling and sneaking and isn't in the spirit of the ee of the last 5 months.

    The entire point of ee was no hiding anymore. Start full and battle your opponent and try to ko them b4 they ko u, not try to get kod.
     
  13. None of my people intentionally failed actions. The point is to make plunder and stay ahead. Self ko isn't a bit## move. Its a means to winning.
     
  14. Then u didnt maximize your potential. Saw so many clans with standard type ee actions. Only a couple moved towards warring these properly. All those clans won fairly easily too. Most with way less successes than the opponent.
     
  15. We did exactly as we were suppose to. Win or lose its about the clan working together
     
  16. Although our clan won, it didn't require the teamwork or the effort as the previous wars. I enjoyed not having to track or study rosters for a great length of time. I had fun but this format doesn't give good warriors a chance to shine. Perhaps if the window out of ko is lengthened the war would require more skill and force a good fight outta opposing clans. This is just hit and hide to a win.

  18. I took part in the one hour war not the two hour war. However, before you call me a sore loser we actually won our war) your new system is really really bad, it basically rewarded all the whiney noobs who get pinned at the start of the war and then cried about getting tracked, this war system has made every war skill and build useless, amazing how you took the season 1 format that worked out really well (aside from the odd mismatch, which is easily fixed through programming and more no matches) and changed it into this mess... This is where I would offer suggestions to fix the new system but there is nothing worth keeping, stop ruining the war aspect of the game for those of us who take it seriously and stop catering to whiners who are a little sore in the rear end from losing due to their lack of commitment to war

  19. So all u ppl saying no skill or strategy or any thought whatsoever are saying that Zaft D are dumb bitches and should have lost their war with RCA just because RCA did relatively well last season? Lol ok
     
  20. This adds a whole lot more skill and strategy to your swarming tactics that were used in the previous season
