Keep it as it is currently awarded and no loss when leaving clan to join war elsewhere. It's not broken so why try to fix it? Incentive in wars is to work towards warring as a team so that you can win as a team, not be rewarded for losing. Mith and eb should be rewarded for no matches as it takes time and effort to get the team together and ready for war.
It fine the way it is just stop changing stuff to much If ya want to change the edge so badly add more lvs on it maybe make it go to 10
Not sure how devs come up with a plan to incentivize people to war by punishing winners instead. Give a little to losers and take away from the winners, crazy way of trying to close the gap.

Equipment enchantment fails, fine, equipment fails and goes back 2 levels, fine, but equipment enchantment fails and resets to base stats. F this and shove this equipment up where the sun does not shine.... ok, enough said, my greaves just reset on me AGAIN to zero...... "we want to change Estoc's Edge such that it becomes a participation bonus" Good idea, bad suggestions. (All of them) Yes, war has a high cost so you want to encourage others to participate. Yes, great idea, but how to do it correctly? Offering to give loser's EE 1 just for warring, will not work. Yes, everyone will join 1 war every 2 weeks to keep their EE level. And giving the loser the new eb to gain mith back, sure will bring in lots of people to war. Of course they won't war to win, just war to lose to get the mith and EE. Heck, you don't even need to use pots or mith, so it does not cost anything to war and you reap the rewards at the end. Wow, I know lots of people who will sign up for this. Can you say abuse...... Participation bonus. ie. how do you reduce the cost to war? Hmmm, 1. change the system wars into mock EE wars. See my previous comment on this. Inexpensive and good practice for all. 2. Maybe return 1/2 or 3/4 of all mith and pots used by the losing Kingdom in the war. This will lessen the cost and encourage people to at least try and fight. 3. Xtals, xtals, xtals, this will always be a barrier for many to war in the current system. Don't have a good solution for this one, but you may want to award winners the same plus return 1 xtal used. For those diehard KaWer's, this would encourage continuing warring. Good luck with your poll and I hope you get the message loud and clear. 1 keep current payout for winners 2 disable mith casting during war ( that way there is no mith loss win or loss, after all we are warring to get mith) 3 give losser a participation edge at 20% for 3 days. If the person wins on next war before the 3 days, the EE would replace the participation edge. This would let the lossing team replanish their pots faster so they could war again. we set aside time, spend the gold, burn the xtals to war, don't want to loss mith too. Lossing what we fought so hard for is hard to take.
It looks like all the no response are from clans that win all the time. I war almost every day but have yet to find a clan that I can stay at since home clan doesn't war so even tho usually top 10 in plunder no matter what clan I never have edge and will never get the equipment. I know there are a lot of us out there in the same boat so anything you do to help with Mith and edge is great
No damn support for Estoc edge changes...if dev has a minimum level of intelligence they will think the after effect first before applying these changes.. And i have no problem giving access to the Vanished Paladin EB to losers Hope the game dont get messed up more..
I think this is a crap idea I have to pay real $ to war as much as I do and if I gonna loose ee in 48 hours wat it the point I'd rather not wat and keep my money I war 5 times a week because I have a reall job u devs must forget that it's use players that pay ur wages not the other way around
I vote option 3 - no change I fully support loosing clan being awarded level 1 ee/participation award for 2-7 days, plus the ability to earn back mith in a post war eb. Both teams spend time and money in participating in wars, this seems fair to me. Definitely no support for 48hr ee. Whilst its a players individual choice to prioritise real life responsibilities- family/friends, employment, education, sports etc with kaw, in doing so, it does limit participation in the current demanding war schedule.
No support. Where was this when i was gettin my ass handed to me every weekend for 3-4 months when ee started. Ive worked hard to get where im at. I didnt get any mith or money back. I took my loses, sucked it up n got betta. Dont fix if it aint broke. On another note shout out to DE.We in this b&%$*
Kaw_admin, if feel that this poll is really two different questions, what do we want to do with EE, and do we give losers access to Vanquished Paladins. While I would very much like to keep EE as it is, I feel that the second point has a lot of merit. While not fully paying back the losing clan, some recognition of what they have put in mith/gold/xtals would be very much appreciated.
NO support for the winners getting less earnings!But to encourage those players who lost the wars i feel that something should be given to them.Giving the losing side access to the paladin eb is a bad idea,we do not want people to abuse it afterall.so if it is possible,giving the losing sides back the amount of mithril they had spent will be a good idea.0 mithril spent on war=0 mithril payback if loses the war,similarly 14 mithril spent on war=14 mithril payback if loses the war
The idea behind Estoc Edge were, at least thats what you told us when you introduced it, that it should work towards keeping peeps more loyal to their homeclan, and stop clanjumping, that why you lose a lvl of EE when you leave a clan. But as your gear/ programmer are unable to run wars unless 27-32 peeps are linied up on each side in a 1860 style warfare, only a third of the members in a clan can war together at a time. This means that in a full clan only 33% of the peeps there can war, thus some of the last 2/3 going out to find wars elsewhere. I see your dilemma. Maybe an overall strategy would be nice, instead of patching ideas as you go along. From us, the players perspective, it is of course interesting that you never know which direction kaw will go in, constantly changing. The downside to these constant changes and restrictions, are that it's in the nature of man to adjust in order to gain as much personal advantage as possible. Making it very expensive keeping up with your constant micromanaging, and also takin away some of the sense of freedom. The fact that i can't war with all my clanmates is, to me, by far the most frustrating restriction right now. I'd rather war with my entire clan, and get the occassional arsewhooping due to being matched with a much stronger clan in strengh or numbers, than havin to tell 66% of the clan to sit this one out.
