Estoc Trials - Equipment Release - The Red War Paladins

  1. Rocket... Real life is more important. And some people want to war while having irl things at the same time. Just because u spend too much time on this game, do not tell people who want a bit more time for real life to shut up.

  2. The devs made a damn opt out spell, use it! There's a ******* 48 hr spell! Don't tell me someone can't get on two days before war and activate it.

  3. -FacepaIm- I was so eager to send my post that I left out words. All I have to say to that is, you are stupid and ignorant.** And yes, activating the spell is a simple, quick, and easy process, but that still doesn't get around the fact that people don't even check the game every day, and not everyone has notifications turned on either, leaving us with no way to communicate with them.

  4. I never said the works "Shut up" I'm just asking people to stop asking for the same stupid suggestions. The Devs have already worked hard on these wars and people want it to be better only for themselves. The other 70-85% of people that are in these wars, like the way they are and don't need these stupid changes. The Devs don't need to care about the 5 percet that don't help there clan by being inactive during wars and the 10 percent that are on but still don't help their clan. Everything is good the way it is now. There's no need to change things is what I'm trying to explain to these people

  5. If people cannot even get on once a day or every other day don't deserve to be in these wars then. The Devs especially should not change anything for those people.

  6. Lol at all the people who are complaining that wars are too long, opt out feature doesn't work, blah blah blah.

    1. If wars are too long and you can't spend 4 hours for the war then obviously other things in life are more important than this game. So why are you all complaining about a game that isn't even important to you? If it isn't important enough to spend 4 hours on then why do you care about the wars in the first place. You obviously don't play enough for any of it to matter.

    2) opt in spell works perfect. If a person doesn't care enough about their game to log in for 10 seconds to pop a mith spell really quick then they OBVIOUSLY dont care about the game. So why would they care if they had to get kicked from a clan that is warring. I mean evidently they dont care enough to log in so why the hell would they care if they got dropped?

All in all what I'm getting at is you people who complain of these two things need to stop lying to yourselfs and the community about the importance of KaW in your life. Either it's important enough to log in and care about or it's not. Which is it? Can't be both

  7. Thank you Blackhand of Satan!!!

  8. One of my favorite sayings has and always will be, "Don't fix something that isn't broken." I don't think you know this, but it only takes 30 people to sign up for the war. An eb clan can have 30-50 players that do want to war, and are extemely interested and prepared to be active. What about the other 70-50 players? Do we kick them? No. They SHOULD be able to sit in clan for a measly four hours (do something irl) and then return to the game in their HOME clan without having to worry about casting a spell or being kicked. Active players that want to war, will be active, its that simple, this is not a difficult concept, so stop being so one sided and look at it from another perspective. Not every clan can be a strict war clan, I'm sorry. But that doesn't mean that an eb clan can't have players interested in war. You guys think that I (we) am (are) here for myself (ourselves), but in actuality, its for the people that AREN'T here. They don't read the forums, they don't want to war, they play the game for their own reasons, IT IS ONLY A GAME, and people have their own free will. I WANT TO WAR. Others do not, and I don't blame my FRIENDS for not being able to war, which is why only 30 players needed is convenient.

  9. Then if they don't want to war and they are active, what can they do? Hum... I know! Maybe they can listen to the forums or (if they don't read forums) listen to their clan and cast a FREE spell that the Devs have provided us with. If they can't even listen to their clan, then they deserve to be kicked. All owners of a clan can agree to that. Then they can do whatever they want. These wars are suppose to bring clans together but if they can't listen, then they're failing that.

  10. I am loving this! I fully support the idea of "blood mith". And for those of y'all worried about noobs buying op equip, blood mith recieved only from EE wars is a brilliant idea as many noobs are terrified of war and are perfectly comfortable sitting in the fluffy unicorn land of ebs XD

  11. @trak. Then your clan clearly needs to adjust to the new ways of KaW. If 30 want to war and 50 don't, yet the 50 dont care enough about your clan to opt out of the war then they deserve a BOOT from clan. Simple. This is meant to bring teamwork and clans closer together. If your mates dont care enough about your clan then they shouldn't be there.

@sugarbabe's comment on the last page. Yes. In order to utilize the main selling feature of the new EE you have to be an attack build. Until devs fix the plunder advantage from bonus that attk builds have then yes this is just a gimmick rigged for one type of build basically. We don't see the big picture yet because it has just rolled out. Give it 6 months when spies are WAY behind their attk build counterparts because of the advantage in growth of gold/bfa that attk builds are allowed

  12. I was waiting for it, and finally, the real topic at hand: Community and the issue of opt in spell vs opt out. To build a stronger clan loyalty and community, you do not remove players from the clan, especially not for one 4 hour war that happens only once per weekend, or less, that only a fraction of the clan is interested in. I'll say it again... Active players...will be active, give them an opt in spell for the war, then the system can target those players and calculate the match up, there can be various casts like there are right now, 8/24/48 hours. Those who do not want to war, don't have to do anything! Now how easy is it to do nothing? Its pretty easy...People grow up in this game forced
to do ebs, because wars will not make you grow, war is an end-game feature, similar to raiding in an mmorpg. But one does not simply go into a raid without the proper raiding gear, knowledge, or stats (hit cap is a good example, but I'll say damage as well). I thought Kaw's intention was to build stronger clan ties with this new war system, yet here you all are, saying to just boot everyone. A lot of people do not want to war, period. And the best reason for that is because it does inhibit growing immensely, especially when you compare the gold lost to zero down, during the war, AND the gold that could have been made if you kept doing ebs. They don't have to war, and I will not force them to nor blame them for it. But that doesn't have to prevent the rest of us active players from warring.

  13. Clans need to understand and accept that the Developers have built this new War System for active, competitive players. The Trials are expensive to participate in, are an investment of your time with lucrative rewards. This is not for everyone. My recommendation is to realign your Clans for these trials and save yourselves the headaches. Put your 30 Warriors into one Clan ready to fight once or more each week and move your less-interested pals into a new Clan. Most all competitive Players have an alternate account they can move into the non-warring Clan to chat anyway, to maintain these precious online friendships. These competitive Clans will probably stick together, reaping the benefits of Estoc's Edge and fancy new Equipment, and with some luck draw some of the more casual Players into the fold over time. Complaining that you can't have your cake and eat it too is getting really annoying, just get with the program already.

  14. @trak. If you want to war then it is something your whole clan must discuss since you are talking community/loyalty. And those who decide they could give a **** less about your clan over a simple login/mithspell then they don't belong in your clan. You are trying to have a clan of half loyal respectable members and half a clan that don't give two 's about the rest of your clan. It is an impossible task. The wars were created to bring unity to your clan. Then your clan should talk it out and unify one way or the other. Do we Carr enough to be there for our clannies or do we not care and are only here for our own personal gain. If it's the latter then you need to boot those members. No two ways around it. You are arguing that things need to be changed because u have members who care nothing of unity or loyalty to hos clan mates. And why would we give two 's about a clan that is full of members who aren't a family.

  15. I need myself a good war clan for mith then

  16. How about this: Release two Equipment-Sets. On the one hand The Red War Paladin Set, which will have an overall more defensive bonus, and on the other hand the opposite to it. I leave the name up to devs (extra didn't suggested something like "Black Knight" etc.). This set should have the more offensive bonus. Further ideas like an epic lore (endless war between those fractions) or advantages/disadvantages when fighting the other are to be thought about.

    What do you think guys?

  17. I'm still having a good chuckle at people pressing for a new kind of Mith...lol

All because they didn't bother buying enough, even though the Devs said it would have another use months ago and countless threads saying to buy as much as possible.

  18. If someone doesn't want to war and can't be bothered to cast a simple spell ... Then get kicked so they don't leak in war ... They have two choices .. Come back after war or be stupid and pissed .. A good clannie would not and should not care that they have gotten kicked for the betterment of the clan ... If they weren't on for the war they didn't miss anything anyway

  19. @panic. Yea me too. People mad because other people decided to take advantage of sales and hoard mith because we all knew something was coming that we would be able to spend on it. Lolololol at people complaining because they weren't smart enough to invest.

But anyways is there any mith wars going on? Have devs changed the tax/mith payout in those too? Or is it still the same ol war tax/crap mith payout as before?

  20. The players that stocked up on mith deserve the edge in buying the new equipment. I'm concerned about the players that don't have much mith though. They should be able to access the war system. Why not put a sale once or twice a month of 15 mith. Give all players a chance to war. Mith stoppage was unannounced and unfair to new players.
