This is an absolutely terrible Idea. I am also seriously suspect as to WHY would this even be considered after literally months of tweaks and trials, right when a tournament starts...It really makes me wonder. 1. This is a counter intuitive Idea. If the goal is to get more clans warring and more EE wars, and reduce mismatches, why would it be a good idea to create limitations that would reduce the number of clans that could sign up....with less clans signing up then the probability of the other 2 criteria used to match, build size and BFA, creating more mismatches, increases. In essence you will create more mismatches by size/BFA with a reduced participation that could very well be greater then the number of mismatches created by roster size. 2. Creating a system where the ONLY strategy/advantage is to have TOP size/BFA position really would take the fun out of matching wouldn't it? Match ups almost ALWAYS favor the odd ranked clan, rank 1 has an advantage over rank 2, 3 over 4... Part of the strategy and fun with a variable roster size is the ability to war different sizes and strengths of your roster, you can add/remove accounts, sizes and strength to try and obtain that "top" possition in each match, and/or opt in more/less to avoid/move to a more favorable matche... All the while your competitors try and do the same to you. The last I saw, this was a game, strategy and planning and matching is FUN. Changing to a system where the opt in system favors the BIGGEST clan by stats/BFA who automatically gets "top" position and the advantage, and reduce a clans ability to "create Their own destiny" in my opinion would seriously reduce a fun and exciting component of the system...that has always been there since EE wars started. 3. Several "no matches" lately have been a result of clans opting in a too many accounts relative to their closest opponent or opting in a roster that's just too strong. We've done that ourselves. In a prior post KAW Admin you instructed clans to look around at close clans and match to them. I for one don't see why the entire system should be change NOW because some clans can't count. 4. Of the 3 criteria you measure clans by, size, strength and BFA. Size is the easiest one for clans to alter and strategize over. It's often very difficult to add exactly the right builds and sizes u need and add/remove BFA in any real way to affect matches in a very short period of time...but all clans can control thier roster sizes now. Making these changes would reduce the number one easiest controllable variable clans have at thier disposal in changing/adapting thier rosters. I can think of literally a dozen other arguments against this idea, but this post is long enough as is.
@kaw_admin You are forcing the KawMunity to pay to war because most winning clans make sure you have 2 crystals which cost money. For a 9 game, the majority of my 9-18 year old members are having trouble with this requirement thus limiting the amount of members to war. this game ends up costing $50 per month. kids don't even get that much for their allowance. I suggest each member that participates in war gets 2 Rancor crystals that can be only be used for Rancor Wars. This would make clans more of an even matchup. those that can't afford crystals are already at a disadvantage. If you want more clans to signup, I suggest making wars more free of charge. people will still buy crystals normally as they have always done in the past, but a war system that costs money. you already limited these wars for 18 forgetting about the younger KawMunity. I support the tighter clan restrictions if there are 2 sizes per war. Group A: 28-32 Group B: 36-40 It would be nice if we could see how many clans have signed up prior to roster lock per group.
NO SUPPORT!!! To get in a 4 alt spread would severely limit clans participating and cause way too much last minute maneuvering. With less than 10% no match why mess with the system.
I had to make a double post as every time u mess with numbers u guys screw it up. We told u 40 min wars would destroy participation and it did. Most wars have 60 or so clans now with 25 min. Your proposal will take participating clans down at least 25%. U should listen to people who do almost every war. We know what works and what doesn't. Why do u think u are back to 25 min. U messed with wars and it failed. Why mess with this for only a few no match clans.
No support. Great idea to further decrease the amount of clans involved. Keep trying and u might get five clans total. Then 1/5 wld get a no-match. Lmao. Seriously?!? For a supposedly free to play game, u sure are doing ur best to try to limit involvement. Of course you get to hear all the bitching when u try something people dont like, bc those that like dont reply. You even limit the way votes can be cast. Counted or not, at least i had my say. No. Stressful enough to sign up at times as it is. More restrictions will drive the fun out of the game.
No support - this seems to be knee jerk reaction ta a small number if clans not matching Change I propose is to reduce min number to 20 and hence increase number of clans participating
After further thought, 25-40 should stay the same. Raising minimums and restricting tighter sizes will definitely limit the amount of clans that signup to participate. But Rancor Crystals!
I vote no I'm not sure if u have an idea of which way you want these wars to go!!! Soon you'll make it one person from each clan warring!!! You've already cut the clan sizes n it's making for the war now your going to make it harder for clans to war when u should make it easier from clans to join the war.
