For some people undoubtably unpleasant as they learn their build is useless in these

 

One thing, regardless of any opinion, is still true. The Beta will be very interesting to watch. Perhaps we can expect a list of strategies from one of the participating clans as to have an insight on how to do things successfully with the new war system.

 

Whoever has the first war better post a thread bout it

 

I disagree with the way they do the beta testing though. Top 50 clans eligible or whatever. Unless a bunch of good war clans merge it's primarily EB warriors testing the mechanics so the devs really don't get the opinion and thoughts from people who predominantly war on this game.

 

It should be a completely open beta with clans with above 20 members. They then match clans of a similar rank. That way they have a better report and test

 

I'm wondering if regular defense towers won't become a new meta for builds

I had the same concern as legacy, clans you are in OSW can do this and become untouchable

 

Yah that scares me Eric. If osw get killed from this game I quit. It's the only reason I play anymore besides talking to my clan

 

I am wondering if the hansel's loss from getting hit by troops worth the plunder they get from assassin and scouting?
OR is regular defence tower now a must for hansel build to slowing down the speed of troops getting pinned during the estoc war?
I would appreciate it if some real hansels experienced the war could give some opinions.

 

Well if clans are in an osw and start an Estoc, they won't be able to attack as well right? I guess that's a silent c.f. of sorts..

The points most people are making are pretty valid, I disagree with those saying it will kill OSW however... That can easily be fixed though.

True, its a pathetic way to cf. But then the clan will be exposed I assume, and have to deal with the humiliation. Where as a formal cf + apology on forums is the respectable way to bow out.

 

Also, during an OSW you could start one of these to raise mithril while the other Side can't hit you.

 

Well, one thing we can be certain of is that the devs will release this without sufficient testing and will launch a new era of some exploit that players will find. That's right kaw_admin, you guys are morons and can't think more than one step ahead.

If a pure spy steals nothing.. No plunder. So opponent even when pin also won't get any plunder.. Right?(Excluding money from att/steals)

A pure spy(non-plunder) can ass/scout
