The problem really comes because OSW/BattleList isn't moderated. EB's you can only use 6 xtals, EE you can only use 1-3 xtals... If battlelist was seen as having the best source of drops, people would farm their alts as it's the easiest path to a goal. 2. Apparently I missed something, where was the "opt-out" button for battle list? Is there a way to make my name not listed? Unsearchable? There isnt. if BattleList was seen as the primary way to get a drop more people would potentially be farmed. Whether they wanted to or not. That's why EE is the primary form of PvP, it's "opt-in" on both sides. There is no assumption that your playing this game because you want to get hit. 3. OSW is messy because it's not about pvp or profit, it's about inconveniencing others. The strippers dont' really make money after paying for the pots/xtals etc. Especially when you factor in buying allies if they cant be offloaded. All you are really doing in an OSW is pissing in someone elses cheerios. EE is the "more elegant" form of PvP in KaW precisely because it is moderated. Everyone enters in knowing what is going to happen and prepared for it. 4. If stealing and attacking were removed we would have a scout party with a chat client to see each others houses. that's about it. Stealing and attacking are a framework of actions against an opponent. OSW/BattleList means you are stealing/attacking against an unprepared opponent. EE is against a prepared opponent, EB is against a computer opponent. You're basically arguing that you'd rather be hitting people that aren't prepared for you to hit them. 5. The problem isn't that 1/100 of the population would do it. Have you seen how upset and jealous people are of the leaderboard? The same functionality exists in the game to get there as the people that are there, but people are still upset and think it is out of reach. Maybe that isn't the best example. regardless, see previous posts about how the BattleList isn't special and all you would have to do is use the search bar to find your alt and hit it for profit, which everyone would do if it was the easiest way to a goal. The people who then did that would be the problem because everyone would be jealous they didn't get the top reward and he did by exploiting. 6. I've never been in an OSW, but I know if you are in an eb that is running out of time and you've hit your 6 xtal limit, you can drop out of the clan, xtal and rejoin an unlimited number of times. Is that fair or an exploit?

Re: Join the Ice Moth Hunt! Iger I never said I would do it. Hell, I don't even have an alt. But there will be that one guy (hundreds of him actually) that doesn't see the fun in hitting the bl, and only wants to smack his alt around for ill-gained prizes. Its not fair to the people that do work hard for whatever pvp will give us in the future. That's most likely what the devs are working at, finding a non-exploitable way to have fun hitting people that isn't an ee war.
Re: Join the Ice Moth Hunt! Do this then - set up a system where "x" amount of players are "tagged" as promo stuff dropping ones. When they are pinned (whether self or other) they are untagged and another person is tagged.
Re: Join the Ice Moth Hunt! Most of the people I know in EE clans run EBs between EE wars. usually something like an HTE so the tracker/WC gets items and payout for doing the work in the EE.

Re: Join the Ice Moth Hunt! ez solution. same way you dont have an alt in your enemies clan, they give 1 random person instead of a bunch, and that is your only target for say, an hour. to find your alt would be a miracle, and youd only have 1 hour. non exploitable and it took me about 30 seconds to come up with

Devs are simply sucking ur attention on "good eq(which is not)" by giving u this event, their only trying to fill their pockets with YOUR MONEY, that's the only way u will grow or even be on lb is if you waste 700+ cash on this game, this is why I stopped Playing, now Iam on to.help friends in clans, pathetic devs

I see this as an event where people who don't want/can't afford to pay for this game, could get free stuffs (aqua, crystals, horns, seals) and maybe an item or two without very much effort. Indeed for highest goals heavy xtal usage its required. But everyone have the opportunity to get a smaller or a bigger prize according with the amount of time he put in this.
