Re: Join the Ice Moth Hunt! Also that the Battle list doesn't mean anything. it's just a search function to find people approximately around your capability of hitting. It's not a special portal into anything and the actions aren't registered any differently than searching out the character name and hitting attack. "My alt isn't on my battle list" is pointless. You would use the handy search bar to find your alt and hit it for profit. Exactly the same as hitting off the battle list.
Re: Join the Ice Moth Hunt! The Ice Moths will be dropping for EB's from the point of the announcement onward. They won't be retroactively rewarded. Don't worry though, there's plenty of time to get hunting.

I could give a hell less if ebs are in the promotions or events, put at least add off-system pvp. This is suppost to be a pvp game, not a pve. It is called Kingdoms at War right? Or am I playing the wrong game? See it's that mindset that has killed this game. The devs are so scared of Pwars happening again that they took so many damn measures to prevent it that they forgot why they took those measures in the first ******* place. Now even in the biggest damn osw in history, pvp is rare!! It's all farm eb and strip with hopes that you bore your enemy to death! It really is shitty how far off-system pvp has fell. That and have much the devs have went out of their damn way, either intentional or not, to ensure thay it stays dead.

Re: Join the Ice Moth Hunt! @igerpums THANK YOU! This is my point. Yes you can farm an alt, but who would do that with freakin ebs??? We are not asking much to include off-system pvp. The issue isn't just why isn't Off System PvP added to this event, but why has it been excluded from all events since the eb era began? That is what makes it maddening.

When you are proclaiming that OSW/BattleList should have drops, you are asking for the same thing as hitting an EB. There is no fundamental difference between farming an alt and farming an EB except the EB guarantees drops and gold. Off-system Pvp is there and plenty of people still do it. Like most games, people become attached to their character and want to protect it. You want to hit people, you put your character at risk. Not everyone wants to put their character at risk and the battle list isn't "opt-in". EE wars are "opt-in" and you enter into them prepared and looking for a fight, the environment you are trying to bring outside of EE is already present in the game in the form of EE. Don't like EE because you aren't built for EE? Simple solution, change your build for EE. This IS a PvP game as you pointed out, but PvP is usually at it's best when it is moderated and done fairly. The reason the osw is perceived as discouraged is because it's not about two opponents squaring off against each other fairly, it's one person waiting for the other to go to sleep so the target can be stripped. That's "better" pvp? Obviously, this "mindset" hasn't killed the game, as there are still lots of players playing. I don't think it's perfect, but it certainly beats going to sleep and waking up with all your hard work robbed from you in the night. I don't know. Two different views, but you still haven't answered how to have OSW/BattleList provide rewards without making it exploitable from alt farming. (think unmoderated use of xtals, could essentially farm icemoths to gold in a day.. depending on drop rate..., also hitting the battle list for drops is no different than hitting an eb for drops except xtal use is moderated.... and if you want to get drops from pvp, that's what EE is for) yeah, people in osw are left out because all they would have to do is drop out of a clan, pick a target and use xtals till they are done.

These are they challenges they have to overcome. If devs don't overcome these challenges then the next wave of complaints will be that people are only hitting their own alts or whatever. Everything in balance, everything in time.
