Answer to 1,3- maybe that's because you are not an attack build. Attack builds cannot attack a hansel who has 0 gold out; says DTW. This is fact; I am an attack build, I would know. 4- not gonna argue, 99% of people call it an attack build but whatever. 5- I didn't say it wasn't the most popular noob build. My point was that being a nooby build is definitely not a strength; you had listed that as a strength 8- I said an attack build with towers, as in spy towers; sorry if I didn't make myself clear. Alright the bottom tiers are dominated by GH, top tier wars are dominated my this build. Should have no problem finding a SS; I have this build 9- just because they are tough doesn't mean they shouldn't be listed; either way, pm me and I can give you the names of a good example. 10- I'm talking about a hansel tower build with troop towersas well, hence the stats I listed (154k/1.5m/4m/5.3m). Spy defense towers are basically a given at this point for any build in EE. This build is tough to spy, hansels cannot easily plunder off of it, and medium sized attack builds will fail from pin, or succeed but with high troop loss.
The only time I've heard an att build getting called a Gretal is in wind ups so can't take that serious But you say att builds with towers are ignored too hard to sko that's not always true there mostly the clan defence and therefore an important build one if ure sizing up your opponent.why? You ask If left alone they will skim plunder gain masses in ko at near end of war Or clan burns troop on them to ko them at start and target them and risk losing the lead But a very important build to tactics of a clan to dismiss as a build to ignore .
Mage, it was known as a Gretel buil bak when Hansel was first coined xD it seemed like a proper combination, and towards the OP, it was a great thread with many mistakes. Just like any major novel or article, it takes hundreds of drafts to finally make it perfect so take the new info the KaWmmunity like my friend Mage here is saying and incorporate it. The point of a good guide is to be as well informed as possible
I have since made several modifications to the original thread. I will continue to update to make this a more valuable thread. Please let me know if you have further questions or build types that I missed that need added. Guild Hansels will be re-added after the next EE war announcement.
Skippy. What Magee says is the truth as to mechanics and popular definition. It's called the hansel build because the player who discovered the build was a player called Hansel. Hence the term for the build. I like the idea and the intention of thread. However the information provided is quite misleading. Please refer to Bellemorte's stickied post from a few years back regarding build mechanics. Good luck.
Have to agree with Magee on this one. I LIKE the intention of this thread and props to skippy But the definitions are incorrect - in fact, builds ie hansel, hybrids and attack is defined by the number of spy/troop building you have and not the overall stats it generates. That in turn affects what you can or cannot hit/ass/steal under different conditions (gold or no gold etc) - which is what we call game mechanics. Bellemorte's stickied post remains the most authoritative post in this regard. Nevertheless, I applaud your attempts at trying to apply game mechanics in the context of EE
If I were you, I'd put the Guild Hansel In there. They never said they were changing it, and they already said exactly what they will tweak.
Thx op for the effort! Even though there is some small mistake here and there but still, great effort!
Nobody calls attack builds gretels except for op. tower builds, attack towers, Jedi build , god build ...not gretel
Apparently you left out the "haxor" build or heyden build of 38 towers or more ...but hey who's counting...
A pure spy should have 0 troop buildings, anymore and they're hansel. Sorry if that's been covered but I didn't see it.
Many infos in there are misleading and all definitions are incorrect. Seems like lots just made up by op like how he called attackers Gretel, no one calls or called attacked build like that. I can tell he op is trying sincerely to write a good post, but still the infos are inaccurate and or wrong. Even the screen shots he used as example are not supporting what he say like he put ss of a guild tower build as example for pure spy stats . I'm sure after this he will learn his stuff better. Plz refer to Belle thread for more accurate build definitions. Thank you.
This info is wrong. Pure spies DO NOT have ANY attack buildings, or they wouldn't be pure spy. You're thinking of a hansel. Attack builds aren't called gretal. Why would it be? Handel is the name of the player who made the build Hansel. Hansel came after anyway so why would the attack build be named after a hansel? Don't put numbers on. Put %s so anyone can use it with any build. Read a build thread before you try an make one yourself.
Also, there's no Haxor build, you could reference stables perhaps and you need GH!!! Such a major part of the game.
If its the most popular noob thread, why did 75% of Zaft, -RCA-, and Warlor use the Attack build (6/6/.2/2) ? Nice work but I second what Magee said.
