I don't know how many law students we have in here, but nobody is going to protest and picket anything. You simply don't participate. I somehow don't think that would break any laws.
I like the match ups. Lots of close matches lately for us. peeps play deadfish before the match. Just give it a shot at least. Simple. If you dont like the wars dont do them, wait until the devs fix it. Lots of clans have huge win streaks..yall think every match is completely fair even for them? Activity and skill help them win. everyone wars thi
for anyone complaining about xtals being forced to be used, 1, that it's a clan policy, not the devs, 2, your lucky its limited to 2 or some clans would blow your assess out of the game entirely.
Support. For 13 weeks the devs could not provide constructive feedback to the hundreds of well thought ideas posted after each war from the ppl who spend 100x of hours (and $ or £ or €) on EE. Judging by the presentation in some of these posts some of these players know more about gaming design than our kaw devs and if provided by sufficient data sets can optimize the matching algorithm in no time. .. Instead of feedback we keep getting same pseudo scientific line and bar charts that don't say anything useful (except about the incompetence level of the ppl creating those charts) So my 0.02 of feedback to devs: This lab rat is sticking to eb only until either full disclosure of the ee matching algorithm or start of a regular season where mismatches w 100m+ cs discrepancy don't happen on a regular basis.
Benefit, the devs could make a 0 xtal limit in trial wars. Nobody would complain about not being able to use xtals because the playing field would be even. But because they have a limit of over 0, everyone will use them because a few would use them. The biggest beneficiaries in this is the devs and nobody but the devs loses anything for free xtals or 0 xtals for war.
Honestly, this is more irritating than the last thread about DS. Op you admit you know nothing about matchups or ee then go ahead and comment and suggest we all aren't doing enough to convey our discontent. Try getting involved yourself before posting to those already involved. Removing xtals removes a large part of the strategy and therefore would corrupt the test data. Matching is rough, but not in the way you think or expect being an outsider. Peace out.
Digiverse, I don't know what you mean when you say I am not involved. I said I don't know the technical issues of matching. If you had looked at my account, you would have seen I have edge. You would have seen I'm in a war clan. And perhaps the lack of xtals would scew data. I also suggested the devs could offer free xtals so we aren't footing the bill for their research, but you didn't respond to that. I don't think you understand much of what I have been saying.
