Slender, has to be a better explanation than that, as the hansel I'm trying to convince "never gets assassinated during EE. Only scouts" Versa, it does not make me waste more spies when they are at pin. I just tested it
Sylver is perfect example, she's not hansel but towers make you lose more troops/spies per action, not only is that a good reason for Towers but they're static so they don't decrease power along with your troop numbers
Sorry, forgot to write in crayon. Lets go with some numbers to help. Rough average number of spies lost when a hansel scouts: 16k, steals: 45k, assassinates: 22k. The number will be roughly the same proportion for attk builds based upon the number of spies they have. So going with that, the best option for an attk build to use against a hansel is to scout bomb. They get more bang for their buck scouting and hoping for a failed action to get the ko. Now how can we stop that. Can we use pots? Nope. Can towers stop them? Nope. Nothing stops scouts except BFE/BFA. What would a hybrid do? Depends on his BFA/BFE and what he likes. Chances are he'll try a steal or ass and if he fails, he'll go back to scouting. Again, more bang for your buck. Same goes for other hansels. A hansel makes same amount if plunder regardless of troop level, unlike attk builds and hybrids. So why sacrifice your plunder making buildings for ones that do nothing for you but prevent assassinations or steals? Look at any clans war history and see what action was the deciding factor. It sure wasn't steals or assassinations. It was attacks and scouts. That being said, hansels are great plunder makers if the user knows how to use it correctly so why would you want to handicap him with towers in EE wars? Low land towers are cheap enough if he has to drop SoS for towers during OSW and he only needs about 15-18.
Huh? Of course they will lose less spies if they have more static... Less overall spies. If I am getting through "easily" then I am maximizing the amount of spies I kill. Versa, yes the hansel will unload it's troops or else they will make money off the hansel..(the other hansels) so then he gets KO'ED easily. Now, if 1.5m static (or even 3m) doesn't stop my scouts, then why have the static?
So just drop all static defense altogether? What a grand idea the only thing giving you an advantage out of pin
Thing about scouts, opponents sdp doesn't affect it so if you're full pot mith scouting guaranteed success unless your bfa is insane
And I never said lower troops, I said 0 gold, that's the only way to stop an attack builds attacks so then the attack build is left with scout bombing the hansel who has twice his spy Att in static defense. Understandingly they will get through but the attack build will use more spies doing it
Great explanation shadow, and ill overlook the snide comment. Now can you explain why then, if this is simple logic to the rest of us, are the top-tier EE clans making 1.5m static their req even for hansels?
Versa, other hansels can still attack hansels with 0 gold out no? So doesn't matter if they have 0 gold. That's only stopping half of them. And no, the attack build will not use more spies per scout just cause the spy has 1m static. I just tested this
I just explained it because it makes the opponent have to use more spies. I don't necessarily mean the opponent will lose more spies per action but will have to use more actions to fully scout bomb the hansel. Meaning that they technically use more spies to pin the hansels spies
I would personally swap out the 1.5m SDT for 2.5m ADT, just on the principal that it maximizes the troop burn on GH/mid build inc. attacks and allows the hansels to effectively "tank" and use their troops without being a massive leak. The SDT often comes into play in the absence of trillions in allies and a significant amount of BFE, which large hansels coming out of KO without any of the above merely get assa/sct bombed and attacks back to pin in no time flat. However, if a hansel uses the SDT, they may potentially seal off a plunder leak via an easier time SKO'ing since the inc. is at a max spy burn rate, and majoritvely fails, however, a large hansel with SDT, that is just coming out of KO will not be able to stop fully potted scouts (once again) without sufficient BFA/BFE. The towers may also be used in combination with the % based equips to offer a larger amount of static SDEF, but this in return may imbalance the match due to the inclusion of BFE in the matchups now. This will result in a de-towering and a waste of cash/time. However, seeing as the SDT (1.5m) or ADT (2.5m) will incur maximum unit losses, therefore, i feel that a towered hansel is greatly more effective in EE with towers. Anymore questions?
Towers make attacker lose more troops per hit, even if succesful, so if its a fail that's like 4x troop loss
It's rare for a hansel to stay full the entire war. They are usually opening targets, and they KO a lot of people, and get targeted like that. So, they are playing from pin usually. And no, a hansel playing from pin won't require more scouts. It's very easy to get through. Again, I tested this on a very bfa heavy hansel. I'm not even sure it helps much at the beginning? Besides having to waste slightly more spies. How many more spies are you losing tho? Is it enough to make the sacrifice of losing so much spy attack worth it? Slender, if I wanted to ask them I would have already. I'm looking here
In addition, the 0 gold and 0'ed troops mechanic for hansels, as well as the hax0r DTW mechanic have been nullified for the EE wars
My test was wrong? Lol. Go do a study group and test it yourself then. My testing (on a full hansel, much bigger bfa than me) proved his 1m static was worthless.
