Lol. We're talking about a form of war whose primary tactic is waiting for the other guy to fall asleep so you can buy his allies and steal his gold? And equating this with bravery and honour? LMAO!! All is fair in this kind of war. I think the point of this thread is to point out that there are two different ways of playing and it might be interesting to see which is successful here. Learn if you're capable.
Whatever war however you want it's a game have fun with it we play this game for the fun it sometimes we forget that with all the ego stroking and politics involved adopt new tactics or don't that's the beauty of this game its a choice each war a new experience, if everyone warred one way it would get very boring. So don't try to make this out like old school vs new school this is WAR it's why we play keep bringing the fun yea OSiRIS
@James Don't worry about the English. I'm American and my English still sucks. I highly doubt anyone makes more off of hitting enemy than the EB. Remember that enemies hit back and thus cut into your profits, and if you are only farming the inactives, then what is the point? I also loved sw and loved how Osiris would destroy their enemies back in 2011. However as you know sw are hard to plan and most ppl are too lazy to take the time to plan out a good sw. EE, while not perfect, are still fun and interesting and more importantly they provide the all important mith. This advantage cannot be ignored. Also if your enemies are doing EE, you can't strip farm them anyway.
There is so much more to a war then just a strip. This strategy works good for strips only. The disadvantages outweigh the advantages. U don't need mith to do osw. U don't need mith to perform a strip. So what is point of doing ee while in a osw
Max EE allows almost double amount of plunder earned daily for strip gold. A steady mith stream not only strengthens a clans members by millions in Equip Bonus' with new Paladin Equip but Mithril spells themselves add tens of millions extra hitting and defending power when in use. Unholy Aura can speed up a strip by 25?% Also Morale boosts,general fun and enjoyment from the game and ensuring everyone is on the ball and tightly knit. There's more,I'm sure of it. I think you can see the point though.
Yes, the taxman has said it quite eloquently. IG can't seriously be saying they would prefer to not have a full EE to hit with. Granted they can play anyway they want, but I'm afraid they will end up like Swabia: a three year veteran with a small build who continues to fight noobs because he refuses to acknowledge the realities of the game.
I know many players make more in osw then in epics or EE. And a war clan builds banks in times of peace not in middle of osw. And you can hit epics but not try stay pinned 24/7 on epic in osw thats a but wierd then i think saying u use epics to build banks is an ecuse to not get hit in osw or try stay out of it.
Or maybe a loss in clan members, due to kicking them because not active for EE . Resulting in a 100% farm . Good friends . Might as well post there former clan mates walls " hey, this one is inactive , strip him/ farm". Big pic . Not the kind of friends I would like to have .
I prefer a good friend over the EE win. But that's just me . Heaven forbid I can't participate in EE this time . A osw means fighting side by side with the friends you have made. Not the the greed of gold . ( just my opinion ) different paths and roads we all have .
@decrepitude I think, that varying strategy does not make one worse. Strategy is strategy. I disagree personally that you disagree with our strategy. If its so bad, show us how to beat it. Because so far, it goes unbeaten.
It's no different to them being in clan and getting farmed. I have a list of all members that get kicked (if they need to be) they are passed on to relevant people that can contain strips due to "seeming" inactive.
It's a lot easier to monitor roster if there on it . Ask the latest kicked if he was ever pinned once by there there clan , to minimize damage done .
Anyways , I'm not a big forum guy . I have my opinion , you have yours . I'll just leave it at that .. Friends and family are more important to me then a EE win during a osw .
I can see what both sides are saying in respect of tactics, however in my opinion playing dead, hitting ebs or hiding in EE aren't WAR tactics, they're BUNKER DOWN tactics. Yes you'll get funds and yes you'll be able to perform the odd strip but let's be honest when you eventually grind out a cf it'll only be cos the opposition is bored. This is a tap tap war app for fun, not much fun in one way hitting but each to their own. The 'guerrilla' tactics make long OSW very boring and after a month or two you'll always see players leave clans, not cos they're beaten but they play the game for fun. If lying there and only doing something now and again is your way of thinking then god help your wives
