EB Test

I heard if only one person does the items on destroyer they're very likely to get the item.

If you was really struggling to get an item, I would try to complete the eb with a group of people who already have the item for that eb as it can't drop to same person more than once. I also hear that if an active member leaves the eb there will be no item drop but I have yet to get confirmation of this.

 

You can receive the item more than once it just doesn't stack.

Damn it meisha. I was going to farm the truth out of slayerbob. I'm getting really itchy. I haven't strip farmed anyone in.....26 days, 13 hours, 24 minutes.

Actually my clan has tested this theory out, 10 times. If the person hitting the regen constantly and doesn't miss any of the regen health it GREATLY increases the chances of getting the permanent item drop.

We tested this 10 time. 9 times it worked and twice two people got it. From this we concluded it is a random drop, BUT if you do do this it increases your chances 85-95% chance. I have personally tested this, I did receive the item doing this, the player in my clan did the same thing, they got it and so on.

I believe kaw_admin made a thread about EB when they first came out. It went something like: If a player leaves or is kicked from the clan his/her plunder bonus will not be disbursed to others; If the player rejoins the clan, all his/her previous actions won't be accounted for at the calculation of the bonus. I think the devs thought about avoiding a new variance of pwar, where all the rewards go to some select players.

 

I will have to agree with slayerbob on the destroyer. I had done the eb several times leading in total actions but no item received. I then tried focusing on the regen of combo item phase and it only took 2 ebs to get the perm item. I also would like to mention that my total actions were fairly low when I got it. At least 2/5 of my actions were just for the items regen part.

This method won't guarantee a perm item but greatly increases your odds

 

We have done The Destroyer 3 times in the past 3 days, i'v been second in plunder in each, second in actions in 2 and first in one with 909 actions. The first 1 items dropped to 9th and 13th in plunder, the second dropped to the 5th and 12th, the third didn't drop any perm items. In this eb a member left the clan, was this the reason they didn't drop.
We are currently doing The Destroyer and a new member just left the clan so fingers crossed they drop.

Does anyone know if this is the case, that they don't drop if a clannie leaves? :?

 

So they didn't drop in the last one but did in the next (i got one) so that's 5 in the past 5 day's and the only ones not to drop the items were the ones where someone left the clan mid battle, it looks like if someone leaves during the eb the items don't drop.
Has anyone completed an eb where someone left and the items still dropped?
Just curious if this is the reason that some epic's don't drop them, I'v heard someone say they did five in a row where none dropped, could this be the reason?

 

I did make a thread about it. I asked for it to be deleted.

My clan has tested this 25 straight times, we have 22 clan mates with the permanent item. 3 of them have 2 or more. 22/25 tries means it isn't GUARANTEED but GREATLY increases the chances.

I personally have tested this and received it on my first try.
