Dual OSF's, oh the possibilities!

  1. Well...

If you aren't LCBC, then there isn't much point. You'll make next to nothing plund then having to keep rebuilding and potting? Not worth it, and if you are LCBC, then it'd be more profitable to just hit normally.

I've thought of this before, and that's the conclusion I came to.

  2. Yepp mine has allies just so the clan can buy one then hit you if you are offline. Ninja's method works much better however you must always be online to open (and I find it a pain to keep hitting sell 100s of times). However if you can deal with that you'll gain billions a day on each account of profit. That's after all the money you lose (1.25k an attack) for selling pots.

  3. I much prefer allies to pots, now that you put it that way :) And of course for plunder cap.... I'd rather take a slightly larger hit, and be available 24/7, AND not have to sell over and over....

To whoever said anything about LCBCing, this is our 4th reset each, giving us now 33% bonuses to every stat. This is not the character who will be participating :p My main is LC, hers is 1 land from.

So, I still want to know which tends to be the better of the two, dual OSF or hansel/OSF. I foresee myself most likely going with Cow's approach, just because the OSF can bank so many allies and become Hansel so easily too, and vice versa. Would there be an instance where Dual OSF would edge out Hansel/OSF?

Sorry for the questions, I'm a Computer Engineer with the FBI, I tend to get extremely gritty with numbers.

  4. Actually if u only have 1 avary for troops thats bad in a war... Hehe (unless u have massively massive bonuses so ppl wont hit u anyways)

  5. I'm sure the devs will be against this great plan for some reason and nerf it.

  6. Lol they wont its just some noob theres no difference between this and what weve been doing since the game came out

  7. Lol well I like it when people become really good as this game fast, you need to ask questions to learn :) need anything just wall me and I'll try to help.

Back to your question, why would you need 2 osf open at the same time? Unless one runs out of money it won't matter if you have 1 or 1000 osf open lol (unless someone tries to steal from you and brings your spies below 20% then wait 5 minutes) oh yea not sure if you're aware but when u open always have spies as close as possible to 20% because you lose less gold, however don't go below or you appear too weak

  8. Just some noob? Interesting....

Back on topic, I'm not discussing war at all here. Yes, I'm newer than a few of you, but what does that have anything to do with it? Sigh....

  9. No Cow, I wasn't aware of that, but thank you. And you're right, Hansel/OSF is how we'll play it :) Thank you and J for all the constructive advice! I've learned most everything about this game from you 2's forum posts. Keep fighting the good fight!

  10. From my forum posts? I don't know if I should be worried 
btw I suggest you read every stickier guide in strategy section, some may be basic for you, but you'll gain a good understanding of the game
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4473 that's a guide blumpy wrote on being a pure spy it was stickied so worth checking out

  11. Been there, done that, several times over :p I also have a couple of guru's in my clan, one of which encouraged me to begin this thread :p

I'll double check all my numbers before I swap from forges, of course, but I appreciate everyone re-affirming my choice :p

  12. Who's your main 

  13. When you build a sub you still need to wait an hour for regen. Also, after tearing it down, you are unhittable for 10-15 minutes. Didn't read posts so sorry if this was already aaid

  14. Lol hi, I killed KT in vanilla too xD. High Warlords represent!

Ah, the days when I could sell my account for a couple grand... Lol

  15. The most effective way to replenish an osf is to put up a beastiary - go eat diiner - then dump a full load of 26 hits. Regarding the cost to an osf of taking 26 hits - this depends on your method of staying open. If you're just leaving gold out, then the cost would be 30m minimum - more if you have a lot of gold out on the osf. However, you can make the loss much less by selling off attack pots from the osf while the other hits. Start at 0 gold and sell 1 of your cheapest attack pots per second and your total loss is ~30k ... pennies.

That said ... You will make more $ over time if you do not drop your troop bldg and thereby maximize your total hits per hour. The only way to maximize revenue on 2 accounts simultaneously is to have a third (ideally also a 4th) account to feed from. Otherwise your plan will generate revenue, just not nearly as much as someone who keeps their troops.

If your objective is to just be an osf and give away $ then your plan would work fine (using the beastiary of course, not a sub). You could establish a schedule for refilling that alternates between OSFs. Just remember that losses on hits are proportionate to the amt of gold u have out (at least .02% of total gold per hit - % is higher if you have less gold). Thus selling pots is much cheaper.
