Dissecting 11 SH Rosters

  1. Nice Immo. .keep it up. .and i hope hit restrction stay on. .lol

  2. I know this has been brought up before. But why not cast. Then Devs pick rosters that are fair and let us war. Takes away any stacking of clans

  3. Only way to counter sh rosters is going all mid (risk of matching a bigs clan) or having 1-2 towered mid with 10 sh.

If you dont want to match em has to be all bigs. If a sh roster has msh they can even match a 5/1/5 clan.(It happened to us)

  4. I guarantee that if you cast a team full of mids, you will match an LB/SH roster and get beat on. Season 1 had it right

  5. I stopped reading after I learned Troy's wall was 20ft tall.

  6. Btw , what does the story of the Trojan horse have to do with sh rosters ? Did I miss something lol

  7. Great post so far, but I'm fairly certain (correct me if I'm wrong devs, or a more recent post by devs), but sometime during s2, devs lowered hit ratio needed to 70% from 75%.

    Just some food for thought.

  8. No question 11SH roster is a problem when our top 3 can only hit one SH Effectively they r out of the war The other problem is these SH have massive BFE so our SH r no match 4 them I suggest all be allowed to buy Mith

  9. As one my clan mates said it's like the 7ft giant against the 2 year old

  10. Lol this thread it's boring

  11. Field small and you'll get sh roster that will kill your mids and give little plunder to your big. Field big and get lb/sh combo that will kill you. These days with more sh only clans, lbs have congregated as well, fielding even 3-4lbs in a roster. Either way you lose if you're not sh or lb. I'm not a horrible build and war fairly well but have never gotten in a clan when i merc because I'm not one of them.

  12. Agreed, PoopleZ..

4-5 mids against a LB may/ may not do damage. That may be interesting to see, when matched against a LB and 10 SH roster.

But mids matched against 11 SH, even if the mids are heavily towered, can't plunder much, except via ko's.

Which then brings us to another question. Why not take the type if builds casted too, into consideration, in the matchup algo ?

  13. Btw Spilatch, I too have no idea where that story crept in from lol

I do like the images though

  14. Just because a mid can't plunder a sh via attack doesn't nescisarily mean they won't work. If you have a few sh killer mids that can help your other 9 sh sit on enemy roster pretty hard it will keep them from plundering this giving you the win

  15. As for the exploit of dropping bfa after match to reduce playing field to 8 vs 11 I think debs will either lock ally sales or remote hit restrictions to combat the issue

  16. Good point, JS..

Having a few SH killer mids might work. But then, those mids should have sizeable bfa, to be able to tank the SH hits.

Another thing which has been suggested. What if the hit restrictions were turned off for a couple of matches during the week. SH anyway have to deal with opponent SH first, before even thinking of hitting any non-SH during war.

Tanks hitting and pinning SH. Should be interesting to watch.

After all, Chaos wars are meant to be the "pre-season test wars" ;)

  17. Agreed hit restrictions were off for a long time and I didn't see any major effect the sh usually still hit sh and mids and bigs and so on onless a special situation or type or roster demanded it like these 11 sh rosters I think if hit limits were taken off the sh teams would be sat on so hard all war they wouldn't be able to win

  18. But then again I always favor a control strategy as opposed to a plunder one. For better or worse lol
