  1. @SkinnyMinny, I'll grant you that "my old school status" is something of a stink I can't seem to shake. It's part of why I've flashed inactivity over recent years - to attempt to just be another player in the system. Compared to the past, I think I've done an alright job of things.

While I haven't spent recently, there was a period a few years ago where I went from being a free-to-play player (and championing that cause), to spending a couple thousand dollars or so over a couple months to address arguments that I didn't understand the paying player base. Given that monetary investment, around then is also when I stopped resetting for mechanics testing.

I would like to contradict your statement that I don't play, however. I have actively gone after the battle list, and been involved in various minor PVP conflicts with players and small clans. You know the argument that players who want old KaW should just play like it is? I'm someone who actually does. I haven't played in an Estoc Edge war since the changes intentionally because I didn't support them.

Additionally, I haven't been involved in the most recently released epic battles because I returned to own my clan, which is unable to complete them (and I'm unwilling to forcefully revamp the clan just for the selfish reason of wanting to experience each EB for myself). I have completed the smaller EBs occasionally with my clan, however, and even made a topic a few days ago about the merits of doing EB's as a solo player, or a player in a small clan.

These holes in experience have limited my knowledge significantly on these subjects, I will admit. I haven't even used an alt outside of mechanics testing because of the ethics behind it. I can respect players that have them, just personally it's not my cup of tea.

However, I wouldn't say my knowledge is totally incomplete. As long as the discussion isn't about end-game lands/buildings, EE Wars, or the latest EBs (which I leave to the experts), my knowledge is still valid.

I wouldn't say I'm a know-it-all, however, for reasons other than the above. Just look at this thread - it's literally me exhibiting a knowledge gap and trying to find out more.

  2. Corinthian I take my hat off to you. You never let yourself get baited, and then bogged down in a slinging match.

Although. We all love to see people argue and insult each other. You definately never fall into that hole.

    Respect to you

  3. That wasn't the response I was expecting. Well played
