Devouring's Idea: Shield

  1. This would make the LB even more unhittable, someone could become unstrippable, I do not support, I think this would just further lead to gold inflation, plus what about players in wars? Not just EE but OSW too. A player could easily but up a shield in their sleep/down time and keep themselves pinned all day. It takes the PvP completely out of KaW.

    What does the Shield do?
    The Shield Protects you from any attacks, for a limited time.
    What is the purpose of the shield?
    The Shield's purpose is to help you grow and to promote warring.
    How do I get the shield?

    Explain how something that protects you from hits also promotes warring . Reminds me of the opt out (of OSW) spell

  4. I have an idea to go along with this!



    Hidden stats:

    You can build a special tower called a tesla coil that gives you spy defence and regular defence stats. You will never be able to tell if a person has a tesla coil until you scout them successfully. The stats from the teslas would then be visible on the profile page.

    Oh, and the stats wouldn't be added to your attack range.

  5. AppleGirl: Trust me it dose promote war. People would rather get the shield for free than wasting money on it.

    It protects you from hits so you can grow and recover from the war you are doing. So you will be warring for a more longer period of time. Trust me on this.

  9. That actually not a bad idea. Also how about a spell that hides your stats completely for a few hours. This will increase PvP.

  12. Pretty much every legit war game uses some form of "shield" option. For a nominal fee. And it works. Well.

    I for one agree that a shield would be a good addition. I like my time spent outdoors. A lot of places around me have no service. I'm reluctant to invest any time or money into my account because it can be ripped off so easily while I enjoy myself snowboarding, or hitting trails on the dirtbikes. I wouldn't mind dropping 5$ to make sure I'm protected while I'm out enjoying real life.

    I'm sure all the basement dwellers don't see a need for this.

  15. ez abuse. why hide your allies when you can protect yourself from strips? remember how pissed off people got when the opt out for the first pvp event came out? this is basically what this is.
