Device Delinking and Account Management

  1. @KaW: sorry... My fault. I forgot to specify I was talking about Android version. I'm an Android developer, I cook custom roms and create mods. So I do need to do factory resets in order to test my work. But again, the account stay on same device. Its impossible for me to understand the reason for being counted as an account transfer. Its the same like reinstalling windows/Linux/osx. Even if I reinstall my operating system, my account stay on same PC and is not considered like I'm using ata/Facebook login on a different PC. Why must be diferent for devices?

  2. Once you're account is on your iPod, you'll be able to delink any devices linked to that account, from the ipod.
    Sorry we don't have an ETA on Android version of this yet. :/

    It is whenever you exit an app (using the home button), then double tap the home button then you hold on the apps in the bar that shows up on the bottom of the screen. Then you close it. And when I re enter KaW, boom another device is added! Lol

  5. I have an account on a dead iPhone 3G. I currently only am able to access it on PC thus have no ATA ID for it. Can I use this process to create one and log it in?

  6. Why does mine say 13/5 ? And show log in from devices on a daily basis?

  8. I think I know what the problem is. I tried shutting down the app and turning on the device and when I logged back in the system said that I had 12/5 devices connected as opposed to the earlier 11/5. Maybe the system recognizes each log as a new device connecting to a particular account. Hope that helps.

    Thank you for the repro steps. We're trying it out now. We may not get a fix out tonight but we have something we can look at now.

  10. If you're playing via PC and using your Facebook credentials to log in, then you can use that to recover your account to a new device. :)

  20. Yes, right now it is a year for it to auto-expire. We are reviewing the timer and the thresholds and may change them if needed.
