Towers add plunder, because (just about, or all) buildings take away bfa. Some more than others, but they add to your per hit. Land increases your bfa I believe. So putting a tower on empty land reduces your bfa while not assisting anything else. If I am incorrect please notify me.
@Dr_Fall First of all, a single land doesn't contribute to your AB, and a tower directly decreases your ally bonus!
I know for a fact you GAIN plunder from towers More than any other building cause it don't have any troops
When i had 15 towers i was making35 mil last hit on hte, dropped them and am now making 73mil on last hit on hte
While towers do not have a plunder value, they do increase stats without adding plunder meaning they drop plunder against the same target. Try it if you don't believe me. If you're going to make towers, do it on hoarfrost. T6 troops and spy buildings don't increase income much when upgraded, in fact ppl say level 3 t6 decreases eb plunder. I've been moving my lowland towers to hoarfrost, and replacing them with sos. Plunder went up a ton more than building more ice trees would have.
Wow, that post about the moron comment. Take it from me, i got towers up to my nose. Towers drain plunder simply because u have a stat increase without troop increase. Troops/spies increase plunder. Special note. A lvl 3 hf tower and a lvl 3 hl tower will drain about the same quantity. Hf will take just a tad more as the difference in full stat is barely 30k. That said. IF, hf lvl4,5 do come out( devs confirmed it a while back) and towers do have that increase too( moose has been openly against devs doing hf towers reach lvl 4,5) Then hf towers will drain the most. Just remember . The more the stats the more it drains. Keep that ratio between towers stats and total buildings in check or risk losing too much. Ex: like building towers in LL, you remove so many troop buildings and gain so little stats. Plunder will drain heavily TLDR? Plunder will decrease as you gain stats but no troops. Troops/spies ratio with stats determine plunder
