Genocide. The people have a right to protest. Regardless if they are wrong or right with the facts of the case. You don't have to agree with them, but they maintain that right obviously. It's honored. As citizens. We need to not allow the creation of mass opposition to this movement. If the state is the only thing opposing, tensions will be released on inanimate objects. Cars, buildings. Even when those buildings/cars belong to the people and not the state. The narratives are all wrong and I'm not sure what is going to be accomplished anyway. But that's what we get when emotion and professional life long activist mix. It's fear based emotion being exploited on all sides. IMO.
@dragon 3 months of rioting? Peaceful protest? You are blind! And saying I sound racist is quite ignorant. Because I'm a very understanding person and I see differently on a subject the you, so you result so ignorance, arrogance and not knowing. Racism, it is fear fueled by not knowing, I am 100% neutral I'm every aspect, and the fact you accuse me of being racist is 100% invalid.
@hydra I don't deny anyone's right to a peaceful protest, but the keyword is peaceful, Dr. king led a peaceful route and won freedoms, what is this doing? Burning cars, buildings how is that okay?
Red cheek marks on right side of face of Wilson in pics. Driving in America left cheek exposed to left window, think about it.
He probably blushes from seeing a hot chick redder than the the pic. Idk man, what if it was a white kid who got murked, same grand jury result? Not likely in my opinion.
Of course he was facing forward the entire time. Right? I'm not saying he got punched directly in the face but explain the swelling.
Police officer shoots 6 foot 4, 290lb felon after felon robs convenience store and assaults police officer. Not sure how anyone say the shooting was racially motivated. The real tragedy is how this officer's life is torn apart for defending himself and protecting the community. Meanwhile, protests and riots immediately erupt at the announcement of the grand jury's decision without the protesters even taking the time to review the grand jury evidence that was provided to the public. Seems like those people already made up their minds without reviewing the evidence that anything short of an indictment was a miscarriage of justice.
In a country where nearly every idiot can have his own weapon (supported by the weapon-lobby which gives billions of dollars for elections) you don't have to wonder how something like that can happen. Being a police officer there, I would have handled in the same way. I am sorry about the kid and the family.
One question, so how big was the riot after the OJ equittal, which was probly the most mediated trial ever, oh yea there wasn't any riots
