Decisions In Ferguson

  1. One of the witnesses on Wilson's side were killed and burned where michal brown was shot.

  2. Such incredible ignorance on display. As always! If you actually (you, collectively) knew any black people you wouldn't feel quite the need for so much armchair anthropology.

  3. You all hear about the white folks rioting in utah after dillan taylor a white male was shot and killed by a colored officer? Yea me either.

    #GetALife #PantsUpDontLoot

  4. I totally agree

  5. ZACALY

  6. #BlameTheMediaNotThePeopleWhoHaveNoControlOverIt

  7. And the cop that shot Dillan was cleared by corroborating footage from his body camera. The exact thing Browns parents are trying to get Ferguson PD to commit to.

Any case i'm not here to waste my time on overt racists. #pantsupdonttroll But for whatever fair minded folks still duck into these threads they can see not everyone is on board. :)

  8. Ferguson looters aren't any different than Islamic terrorists in the Middle East  oh did I just go there......*troll face*

  9. That's too funny.

First they post a photo of someone with severe injuries that isn't Wilson. Then they post a gangster photo of someone who isn't Brown. It's pretty clear some people aren't doing their homework.

  10. I love the circular logic here.

    1) Not everyone who takes pictures with guns is a thug, but this guy attacked a police officer.

2). This guy must have attacked the police officer because he is a thug, after all, didn't everybody see the pictures he took with guns?

As long as a person concludes he is a thug in the first place, any logic will do 

  11. I like that King Calm. Let's remember that. Not everyone who takes pictures with their rifles is a racist redneck right wing fanatic. People supporting their constitutional rights, and those of others are not right wing racist rednecks.

Okay. All the mature people know not to marginalize, and generalize one another.

All violence, looting, arson, shootings will be criticized to fullest extent. If you are a leftist who is demonstrating or supporting demonstration it is your job to condemn such actions.

If people are standing up calling for a town to burn down. It is your job to make sure that mans influence doesn't cause more harm. And people were worried about AP on this forum.

If you are a right wing nutt job who feels like you have no control of the situation. You don't. Enjoy your holiday with your family and friends in peace and safety.

I heard some CNinnies got robbed. Cuz who likes CNN? Mike Brown woulda pulled tat jack move.

There are a few different forces at work here. Some groups of protesters can not get along. Some of the shooting is between protesters.

  12. Since you seem to know everything, a common trait among the Brown supporters, let me help you understand the incident better.

    A. Brown committed a mistamedor count of Theft and that's a fact.

    B. He commited a felony count of Assualt and Battery on a Police officer, that charge comes with mandatory jail time

    C. A felony count of resisting arrest

    D. He would be fined for disorderly conduct as well.

All in all Brown would probably serve 15 years in prison and pay 2000$ in fines roughly. At the very least that's what would happen, however in committing those crimes he also put the officers life at risk, resulting in Wilson's last ditch effort to save his own life, shot and killed Brown in self-defense.

And to answer part two of your question, the prosecutors job is to: Put together a case in order to achieve an indictment on any possible charge (which he did), Put forth any evidence, no matter circumstantial or hard (which he did), uphold his integrity no matter what his personal opinion, and show no bias in his case (which he did). He preformed his duties to his full effort, however in this case Officer Wilson defended his life and deserved no indictment.

Get over it pal, Brown was a thug and nothing more, and the way his community has reacted is a reflection of himself.

  13. And those who think racism still exist like it did in the 60's and before, forget not of the 500,000 men that lost their lives fighting for you freedom, forget not of the freedom riders and white men and women that lost their lives standing up for your rights. Forget not of all the people who were disgusted with racism and stood up against it! Today think about how lucky you are to not have to stand on the bus or drink from other water fountains, think about the fact that you are 110% equal to everyone else. And remember those who have lost their lives fighting for your cause!

  14. This isn't any different than militia movements standing up for their rights.

They get upset when the police use strong arm tactics. When the push down pregnant women. Tase their daughters and sons. When they put the threat of the federal government coming to slaughter upon them.

    Coercive police actions, and brutality.

Yeah it happens to white people as well. Everyone needs to realize this. White boys beaten and sprayed cuffed and kicked. Demonized in their own communities. In some cases shot dead.

I don't see black people stepping up in droves to condemn these people. Just statist spitting the usual venom.

It's all the same, the politics are just different on the back side.

  15. A). We will never know if he would gave been convicted of theft. It is possible. However, that is not a capital offense.

B). We do not know that he committed assault on a police officer. You concluded that he had by choosing which version of the evidence conforms to your views.

C and D). Same as B. Considering he was shot and killed and the prosecutor a) refused to indict on his own, and b) did nothing to assist a Grand Jury to indict, we will never know what all the true facts, as brought out by a trial, would have shown.

Once again, your talk of a "last ditch effort" is so obviously the construct of someone who made up their mind to believe the facts that fit their world view.

Regarding Mr. McCulloch, no one was surprised he did not produce an indictment, despite the fact fact that it is so easy to get an indictment it has been said a prosecutor could get an indictment against a cheese sandwhich.

His family are police officers, his father was killed by a black man, and he was known for his unwavering support and protection of the police since as far back as the Jack-in-the-box shootings.

Further, if you read anything from what he leaked about what he showed to the Grand Jury, you would agree that he was far more effective than any defense counsel could have been. Ge did not recommend the jury indict, or even explain to them the legal standards of the possible charges. If you wonder why black people in Ferguson feel there is no justice for them, this is a big part of it.

They could have appointed a special prosecutor, had some semblance of transparency, released records promptly, any number of things to prevent what we are seeing now. But when the people in charge, just like the people whose bias compels them to instantly take sides against any black man (calling all of them a refection of a thug is telling), make decisions affecting the legal rights of people, there is no justice.

However, you did completely prove my point about racism and the denier's attempts to rationalize it . Live with it, it's you 

  16. Actually, A) was a "strong arm robbery". That's a felony.

And you seem to have no idea what a prosecutor is supposed to do.

If a prosecutor doesn't think he has a case, they don't ask for a indictment period. Asking for an indictment means you think you have a case and you want to go to trial. Normally, a prosecutor goes to a grand jury and presents a case why someone should be prosecuted. They never go and present a case why they shouldn't. They're always biased. They're the PROSECUTION, not the defense. All McCulloch had to say was there was enough doubt over whether the shooting was justified, provide testimony to support it, which he had, and ask for a trial. That's it. Why do you think lawyers say the prosecution could indict a “ham sandwich”?

McCulloch didn't have the balls to ask for one. He didn't need a Grand Jury. If he had wanted one he could have simply went before a judge and asked for an indictment. That would have made him unpopular with the police, so he did something sneaky instead. He basically conducted one sided closed trial and dumped it all on the Grand Jury to decide. That's not their function. That's what trials are for.

"It is the grand jury’s function not ‘to enquire … upon what foundation [the charge may be] denied,’ or otherwise to try the suspect’s defenses, but only to examine ‘upon what foundation [the charge] is made’ by the prosecutor...As a consequence, neither in this country nor in England has the suspect under investigation by the grand jury ever been thought to have a right to testify or to have exculpatory evidence presented." Justice Antonin Scalia, United States v. Williams

The bottom line is, the police didn't want an indictment or a trial, so they held this circus and tried to bullship everyone into thinking everything was "fair" and "transparent".

  17. Now you have concluded I'm racist? You don't know my race, you don't know who I am, you do not know what I do. You sir from what I have concluded are a complete liberal, and like those around you are blind to the FACTS of the case. Your "leaked" information is not verified and hasn't came from a viable source. That being said you can kindly "F" off with your backwards politics. I would gladly meet you in real life, I currently attend Stanford University, if you are around the area give me a follow we can meet up and I'll present you with all the verified case details. Now quit your BS, because to be honest you are as bad as the protestors in ferguson, I wouldn't blink twice if you were, your a damn sympathizer and nothing more.

  18. Can we stop with the long ass quotes? Just put "@Dragon" or cut out some of it.

    Keep it going tho 

  19. @ --Genocide--

While you're at Stanford, look up the words "stereotyping" and "generalization"

There's protestors and then are rioters and looters. The terms aren't interchangeable. The protestors are the ones standing there or marching peacefully and not burning and looting. That's the rioters and looters. They're the minority. The majority of the community of Ferguson are peaceful protestors. Stop trying to make it sound like the whole community are thugs. That's why you sound like a racist.
