I am going to play devils advocate here. As a mod of four years, in two games, I can honestly say that a large part of my moderating has been based on community feedback. When the community questions me, it forces me to be reflective on how I moderate, how I interpret the TOU/ROC, how I behave in public, how I interact with players. Feedback is good. Particularly in regards to forums. That said, personal attacks suck, silence riots suck. But my main point is, the community is the mirror of moderation. You are part of the education process for new (and old) moderators. You are a powerful voice. Its up to you whether that voice is constructive and capable of achieving change, or a voice that has to be silenced for personal attack.
Your statements would be valid if EVERY mod new & old were actually dedicated to doing the RIGHT THING ...some are some aren't, before this new group of mods came along the reputation/respect for mods had dropped drastically. Before the new ones came out Hero was/is prob the best one and most dedicated to doing what's right... ....you and the rest, not so sure about.
Better stay of Facebook and Twitter then, Bob, as every one and their mother in my feeds make Harambe jokes.
