That reminds me of these guys in Baltimore. They do a youtube series where they make iconic anime/video game swords. Like Devil may cry, berserker... Ect.. Pretty good stuff.
I don't want to be limited to a certain knife but for starters I am thinking a bushcraft or hunting style knife. Do a few simple designs first. Then move on to a different style when I am more comfortable with making a good knife.
I've seen that knife plenty and I think it is a very awesome design. I can't see why eventually I couldn't make such a knife but I am not trying to copy anyones work. Althought it is near impossible to come up with a design that someone hasn't already done. Most I see are people putting their own twist on a style of blade.
Can we start seeing some photos of custom knives in here? Get it rolling. Good ones. Like those shared on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and dedicated blog pages.
I stated i was not to a stage of posting any pictures right now. Right now I am mostly just having a discussion.
Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. So I thought I'd give this another shot to have others read. Still looking for any tips or tricks to making a good quality knife for a beginner.
Robot that is what I will be trying to do but it is extremely hard. If you can think of it, chances are it has been done. I just try to put my own touch to my design though. Don't get me wrong I am not doing this to become the best or well known knife maker. This is just to make a little extra cash at a hobby
